My daughter went in and just bought a pre made cake instead. When we cut it up to serve it, we found pieces of sliced up plastic inside it. We couldn't serve a single piece for fear of someone getting injured ! We called to let the bakery know what had happened, but we were transferred to a supervisor named Tommy, who got angry with us and began to cuss at us. Needless to say, we will NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MEIJER AGAIN!. I am just thankful that we found the sharp plastic pieces before any one swallowed them. Meijer refused to listen to us and I have NO DOUBT that they have other cakes there with those pieces of sharp plastic in them.UNBELIEVABLE!!! They refused to even check their other cakes. So I buy a new one anyways because I need it. Come back in next day show them where it says one year warranty, with receipt and everything tell them about the night before. Last year I found a ton of awesome usually expensive board games for about $5-$8 a piece. My only complaint would be that the store itself looks a little run down and old. It's also not in the greatest area.

Adjacent to it, but technically not in Spring & Main, you will find a great fine dining/steakhouse restaurant called Old City Prime. This great place also features a lounge bar which has dueling pianos. Its on my list of places to try. Down the block you also find the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, where you can catch the Lima Symphony Orchestra playing or some other great live event. Great place to spend some time, enjoy yourself, take your family, or have a date night.
