I have been to Meijer's several times since moving to Ohio. It is not the usual grocery store I go…read moreto as it is located in Lima,OH and it's about 40 minutes from my home. I do come here on occasion, mostly because it sells items I cannot find in my local grocery stores in town like mojo, Cuban coffee, and other items necessary for me to make food from my culture. Meijer is kinda like Walmart, just nicer. It sells clothes, home decor, garden, pet food and items, and has a drug store. The supermarket is rather large and has a huge flower section. I enjoy shopping here, the only issue I have is with their pickup. It is handled by Shipt. The one time I tried it, they postponed the pickup 4 times! And the last time it was done last minute after I had already made the trip. Not everyone lives a short drive away. If I drove 40 minutes, I better have my items. Besides their pickup problems, it's a good grocery store and one I will return to.

I'm in there daily and absolutely love their hot dogs. Here lately the fountain pop doesn't seem to have the right mixture so it has a weird taste.

So I buy a new one anyways because I need it. Come back in next day show them where it says one year warranty, with receipt and everything tell them about the night before. And they refuse the return "because I need to go through the manufacturer" kinda ridiculous as almost all places take care of that for you.

If you look at Ollie's for what it is, it's actually not bad at all…read more The friendly service is designed for bargain based shopping, and limited availability on items. Once it's gone, don't count on it coming back. Prices can be really good on some things, but understand that not everything is heavily discounted. Selection is normally pretty broad. Also, lowest price doesn't mean highest quality. So you save on things that may have been on the market for a while. That other retailers may have decided to move on from. I don't go often, but find value practically each time I stop by.

I never leave empty handed and I'm always finding something I've been looking for. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help you if needed. Prices can be really good on some things. Last year I found a ton of awesome usually expensive board games for about $5-$8 a piece. My only complaint would be that the store itself looks a little run down and old. It's also not in the greatest area.

I came by Lima Mall back in November to do some Black Friday shopping for myself and family…read more Although the mall is bigger than I expected, it still could use some work. It look a little used and could use some improvement especially some of the stores. It also lacks some stores you would expect in malls, and some of them are smaller than I am used to. Still, it gets the job done. I was able to get items I needed to buy and avoid paying shipping.

The customer service desk was nice enough to let my mom use the Kohls Cash two days early. On top of that, the clerk noticed a mailer coupon that applied another 15% off the purchase. She clipped it out from a sheet behind her desk and slapped a few bucks off our purchase. For having awesome customer service and impressing my mom, Kohls gets my mark of approval.
