The giant rear parking lot here was just naturally a good place for all of us to chill. And was always good for a early morning Bun Run.. Mister Cheapo records and CDs Still Remains, so many of the original stores like Burlington gone to memory. I saw that the Italian place Chao has gone out of business, a shame I've enjoyed many wonderful meals there. Best Supermarket is now the Cornerstone Supermarket here and Brooklyn Pizza is still in the house. A busy local spot teeming with the Commack community's business activity. The Outback Steakhouse is one of the original Outbacks that I have been going for many years. Some of my best memories are in this Outback restaurant here. Verizon now has a free-standing building with the old gas station used to be the shopping center remains at the center of Commack's vibrant Community. I always enjoy visiting the Mayfair and shopping here whenever I am in the area. I can't help think of the memories and times that I've had here. I've also known the owner for years - she is a kind, respectable person who truly cares about her customers. However, over the past year or two, I've noticed a decline in customer service. There are a few sales associates whose approach often makes shopping uncomfortable. They seem eager to help younger women or those who fit the mold of a certain aesthetic, but if you don't, the experience changes. Instead of showing flattering pieces that could accentuate your positives, they tend to pull oversized items - with more of an appeasing "let's cover you up" attitude rather than talking to you positively about what could look good on you. Even when I share my preferences and typical size, I'm often presented with clothing that feels mismatched to what I've expressed I like. At this point, it feels less like a mistake and more like inexperience or a lack of understanding of how to style different body types. Additionally, hiring only sales staff who look and act "trendy" misses the mark when it comes to connecting with the broader demographic of women who should be embraced and celebrated as valued customers. It's too bad, because the clothes themselves are cute - but the experience has become so unpleasant that I will be taking this place off my list of places to shop.

The woman working was super helpful and guided us across the street to tandy girl We came a little before they closed but we're so helpful and I found my outfit !! Cutest jump suit In my head I believed tandy girl was geared mostly to tweens and teenagers but it's for young adults as well , I wanted to buy everything in the store. They even had a Barbie section and my inner younger self was squeeling The decor is beautiful. I of course took photos of everything !! Posting the dress I wanted however it was the last one and too small :/
