Breathe - Fake crystal dipped in lapis

Jenna is great and so interesting to talk with about the products or spiritual conversations. I'm still dying to get to one of their 'extra curricular' activities that they host like yoga, meditation and other great workshops. Go support local shops and feel the peace!

The owner of the store tells employees not to talk or be friendly with customers. This is incredibly unwelcoming and causes the employees to act soulless and robotic, even people in these reviews mention it. The more friendly you are, the more people want to do business with you, believe me, I worked retail for a decade, I have a clue. I had made a friend in the bayshore store that kept getting into trouble talking to us, but talking to her actually made us buy more things! One time I came in when the store had an hour left open and the girl that was there was being rude and rushing us, so she could leave and close the store! Turns out it was the daughter of the owner. To make matters worse, I bought a heart crystal and gave it to a friend. Apparently it was a fake crystal! My friend dropped it by accident! I don't necessarily blame the store since anyone can get scammed, but I would just say be careful and make sure the crystal is real. Especially with those prices! The thing that gets me the most about Breathe is the soulless ness and unfriendliness vibe that the employees are forced into. There's so many other crystal stores where employees are friendly and fun to talk to! Not Breathe, it just gives me a "meh" feeling, I'd much rather go somewhere else than breathe. It's a shame collective consciousness and tranquility within closed down, those were really fun and had brought in a fun community!

Sur La Table - Beef Wellington Class

If you don't mind sharing the space and resources, sign up for anything! Croissant - So fun making classic croissants, pan au chocolat, and ham and cheese croissants. You work in reverse order where you make the croissants first, then you go back and learn to make the dough. The dough you make is used for the next class. They said the class would take 6 hours if you did everything in one day. Beef Wellington - Not enough cooking. WE rolled out the dough, made the duxelle, and the side broccolini. We did not sear the meat and we didn't get to check the temp for the perfect cook. Our beef was overcooked and completely grey. On to my next adventure...

"Would you like a cappuccino sir"…read more I'm asked as I entered the space. No, no thank you I replied as I walked into the store that was closed a few years back. They recreated the store exactly like it was in 2019. Walking in Monday afternoon, I see there's a cooking class in the back. Lots of smiles from the customer service peeps, I just love Sur La Table. I have credit card points that I'll be using for my purchase. I found a two loaf baguette tray and a bread scorer. The counter person was so helpful, she took my digital gift card (Her first time) and gave me a military discount. Sur La Table, welcome back! It will be a pleasure to shop your store once again.
