What keeps me coming back is the variety of items the owner, Laura, sells; inscense, books, candles, tarot cards, crystals, jewlery, wind chimes, and she started stocking really nice round stained glass sun catchers a few months ago-which I bought two. And she rotates her stock, which is another thing I like! She'll carry some typical items, other items she'll carry for a few months or a couple of years then switch 'em out for something new. The staff are professional, friendly, and personal people who are knowledgeable about what Laura sells. You can ask them a question about something esoteric or pagan religion-related and if they don't know the answer they'll pull out their phone and search if for you on the spot, or write down a website or name of a preist/ess, healer, etc. for you to search yourself. Laura herself cares about her customers. I cannot provide any detailed comments regarding her tarot readings personally, since I haven't gotten one by her, but I've heard that they're sought after and she's very good. I have gotten a short (for lack of better wording) personal reading (I asked a question, no cards involved) by her recently regarding an issue I've been struggling with for a while and her spiritual advice was insightful and gave me a boost in my confidence. Finally, I like items with ravens/crows, skulls, and bats on them, and I also collect gargoyles. I've been able to a couple of beautiful raven sun catchers here, which are hard to find. I highly recommend this shoppe, and I will continue to shop here for years to come!

The owner of the store tells employees not to talk or be friendly with customers. I had made a friend in the bayshore store that kept getting into trouble talking to us, but talking to her actually made us buy more things! One time I came in when the store had an hour left open and the girl that was there was being rude and rushing us, so she could leave and close the store! Turns out it was the daughter of the owner. To make matters worse, I bought a heart crystal and gave it to a friend. Apparently it was a fake crystal! My friend dropped it by accident! I don't necessarily blame the store since anyone can get scammed, but I would just say be careful and make sure the crystal is real. Especially with those prices! The thing that gets me the most about Breathe is the soulless ness and unfriendliness vibe that the employees are forced into. There's so many other crystal stores where employees are friendly and fun to talk to! Not Breathe, it just gives me a "meh" feeling, I'd much rather go somewhere else than breathe. A Breach of Trust Disguised as Hospitality…read more My visit to Home Kingdom was marked by misleading signage, dismissive treatment, and a concerning absence of basic respect. The store displays a prominent American Express welcome sign, yet when I attempted to pay with Amex, the owner scoffed and said, "Didn't you read the sign?" I replied, "Why would I? You have an Amex logo right there." She pointed to a hastily taped-over Mastercard logo, an attempt at correction that borders on false advertising--or at the very least, deceptive practice. Already wearing the elastic bracelets I intended to purchase (which are difficult to remove without breaking), I explained I needed to grab my wallet from my truck and asked if I could return to pay. Rather than responding with basic decency, she replied coldly, "I don't know you." I said, "And now I don't trust you either--see how that works?" I left my phone as collateral, returned quickly, and paid in cash. To top it all off, the irony of a large sign near the entrance reading "Remember, as far as anyone knows, we're a nice normal family" was not lost on me. It's hard to laugh when that kind of messaging is used to cover for behavior that is, frankly, the opposite. A curated facade can only hide so much--what's beneath matters more. This was my first and final visit. Trust, once broken, is not easily repaired--and Home Kingdom made no effort to try.
