I've been a customer for about 20 years. This small shoppe has the perfect size and atmosphere for an esoteric arts place, and I've enjoyed shopping here. What keeps me coming back is the variety of items the owner, Laura, sells; inscense, books, candles, tarot cards, crystals, jewlery, wind chimes, and she started stocking really nice round stained glass sun catchers a few months ago-which I bought two. And she rotates her stock, which is another thing I like! She'll carry some typical items, other items she'll carry for a few months or a couple of years then switch 'em out for something new. The staff are professional, friendly, and personal people who are knowledgeable about what Laura sells. You can ask them a question about something esoteric or pagan religion-related and if they don't know the answer they'll pull out their phone and search if for you on the spot, or write down a website or name of a preist/ess, healer, etc. for you to search yourself. Laura herself cares about her customers. I cannot provide any detailed comments regarding her tarot readings personally, since I haven't gotten one by her, but I've heard that they're sought after and she's very good. I have gotten a short (for lack of better wording) personal reading (I asked a question, no cards involved) by her recently regarding an issue I've been struggling with for a while and her spiritual advice was insightful and gave me a boost in my confidence. Finally, I like items with ravens/crows, skulls, and bats on them, and I also collect gargoyles. I've been able to a couple of beautiful raven sun catchers here, which are hard to find. Okay, so we've been coming to Port Jeff for 10+ years, and in all that time, I have never gone into Envision Crystal. Something about the tiny building seemed intimidating to me. Today, I finally got over my nerves and went inside, and I was NOT disappointed. Despite its tiny size, it is insane how much they packed into the space, and weirdly, nothing feels cramped. It's sort of like the TARDIS from Doctor Who -- bigger on the inside. The quality of the goods are really great, but it's the selection that really wowed me. Everything in there is so obscure, from the tarot decks to the journals/books of shadows to the statuettes and gemstones. They even had sweetgrass for cleansing, which is a fantastic alternative to sage for those of us who suffer from allergies. Some of the items are ridiculously overpriced, but some are actually UNDERpriced! In particular, I found a heavy rose quartz heart about the size of my fist for $10, and the energy coming off it was ridiculous. The texture of the gemstone was rough and rustic, not polished, and it felt like something very old that passed through many hands. It was the only one in the shop, and I couldn't resist it. I had to buy a book of shadows too, because I have never seen such beautiful ones in my life. I was also impressed with the small selection of Egyptian items, which are not so easy to come by. Honestly, I could have easily spent over $100 on this visit alone. I had to put back so many things! Additionally, the store smells wonderful, the music is relaxing, and the cashier was friendly but quiet. She answered all our questions but stayed behind the counter and didn't push us to buy anything extra. We really appreciated that, and we will be back! read more

Horrible! Horrible customer service. Me and my friends walked in and immediately they began treating us harshly. We're women of color and the owner began giving us dirty looks and then talked loudly to another WHITE customer saying "ughh I wonder why it got full all of a sudden?" while staring us down and rolling her eyes. She also wasn't wearing a mask. Such a horrible environment and made us feel unwelcome. Do not go here it's not worth it. read more

This is one of my favorite little shops on Long Island. The staff is always helpful. Their prices are spot on! I also mean it is LITTLE but very nice. I always drop in when I'm in Port Jeff and at least buy one thing. Be it as small as jewelry or as large as a wall hanging. We usually park in the lot right next to the store and just pay a few bucks. read more

I love this shop. I was forever apprehensive to enter it based on what I assumed it's characteristics were. However, when I finally started to go to Envision Crystal I was totally blown away by their diverse selection of goods and the integrity of the business. Every time I've been to the store Natalie has been working and I've watched her handle an incredible array of customers from spiritual gurus and absolute crazies to devout religious characters and just your average customer and she has handled them all with patience, grace, and open knowledge. The store is very small and it provokes an intimate atmosphere and, by that, intimate conversation. I am continuously impressed by Natalie's comprehensive and compassionate ability to handle people of all sorts with all kinds of different backgrounds and stories. I myself have come to her on various different occasions asking for advice on goods they sell as well as just advice in general and she has helped me remarkably on all subjects. It is the quality of the goods in this shop as well as the quality of it's employees that truly make it an integral part of historic Port Jefferson and a go-to spot if you're looking for spiritual revitalization. read more

This place is a true gem. I've only been here once, and I couldn't stay for long, but I am trying to go back soon. The store looks like a cute little house, and the shop is just (I believe) the first floor, and it's very small. However, the place is PACKED with all kinds of awesome books, candles, tons of herbs, stones, gems, etc. The people were very friendly and helpful, and as far as I remember, the prices were fine. Definitely Recommended. P.S. Be careful about parking in Port Jefferson. My boyfriend and I parked in the 'parking lot' right accross from the store, and when we come back to leave...Surprise! I love Envision Crystal, and since I am a townie, I probably spend a little too much time chatting it up with my friends Chelsea and Tim who work there. Every time I go in, I run into different friends. It's like a magnetic meeting spot for a lot of locals. I buy lots of inscents and candles here.
