I am giving it one star because the fitting room staff was very personable and nice. The store moved from the location across the street and went downhill. The store smells like old dirty clothes. The store is messy and dirty. The clothes are not hung neatly. All departments things are thrown around. Really needs a redo, surprised if they will stay in business. read more

This particular store is has good stuff however, after my last experience in this store and after speaking with the district manager who is clearly culturally inept along with some of the other employees in this store I will never be back there. District manager showed absolutely no empathy or concerns completely ignorant about social issues! No thought whatsoever about me as the customer, it's no wonder why you have some employees act the way they do! Blatantly disregarded my extremely uncomfortable experience and how I was spoken to. He 100% sides with the employees and does care whether or not a customer comes back to the store! Bad move especially since a lot of retailers are going out of business! read more

This particular outlet could be far more " senior citizen friendly " . I often shop at various outlets of this group ( Home Goods, Marshalls ,TJ Max ) , and this place has been a pleasant stop in the past , but after being subjected to the insulting behavior of the manager today ( around 6:30 PM , 8/25/21 ) I'll take my business elsewhere . I only purchase a limited number of food items here , in a store that also sells shoes , rugs and other items that spend a lot of time on the floor before being handled by cashiers . Today , for the first time , I was ( at the age of 66 ) disbelieved when I simply asked the bumbling cashier to hand scan one of three pairs of food items twice ...something I've done countless times before . The manager insisted I lay out everything on the counter ...so I did , and left the cookies and pineapple marmalade there . Why would I ask you to scan a box of cookies multiple times if I wanted to steal them ? Admittedly , I did some dumb things as an undergrad ....but that was a few decades ago ! PS : the young man attending to the gourmet shelves almost crashed into me once or twice , with no " Excuse me " or "Pardon me " ...... poor management all around ! read more

I always come to this tj-maxx because of the short line. But, today I was extremely disappointed by the cashiers. I had brought in a couple of items to return, and the lady got angry and sassy, and then said that there is a line and I can't return all these items right now, and had to go somewhere else to return their products. I wanted to use some choice words with her, but then I reevaluated my choices and stupid old me left the store. Not a fun day considering I was treated badly at another store I went to that same day. I am definitely not coming back here because of the rude employees and their limited selection of products. Would not recommend to anybody looking for good products and kind employees. read more

I visited this location today 03/20/2021 at 12:34 and I am highly disappointed with the manager working there. She shouldn't work in a customer service at all. Here's what happened: I found a Dress in a Clearance rack size 18 months, that I wanted to buy. The same Dress, same brand, same Clearance rack in the sizes: 12 months, 24 months, 3T etc. were marked down, but not the one I wanted. So I picked them and went to the cash register to report that because nobody else was around. I was perfectly calm and I was hoping they can help. The lady went to get the manager and they spoke for a bit before the manager approached me. She didn't greet me but went to yell at me straight ahead that she WON'T HELP BECAUSE THE DRESSES CAME IN A DIFFERENT TIME. Whatever that means, she acted like I'm guilty of that. I find this store very unorganized if the same Dress, picked from the same spot has different prices. It js very confusing and made me look bad that I just asked. I left disoriented, disappointed and I will never go back there again. read more

I usually never make comments but this manager was a bit too cranky for me to ignore. The manager Donna F was rude!!! I bought a shirt and the button fell off. She told me I can go home and stitch it and she can take off 50 cent. She also made a comment that I would have to stitch it if it fell off at the house. Not that I needed her advice. It seemed like it upset her to take 50 cent off. Not going to be returning to this location!! read more

Not one of the best tjmaxx stores in the area but I go because it's close to my house. The makeup section is always in a mess or they have things in boxes that you have to dig thru to find what you want. They need someone to organize and clean it up a bit maybe they will see more traffic when they do. read more

This store has really improved since its revamp a couple of years ago. It much better organized and cleaner. They have a lot of great deals here. I visit here probably two times a week. They are great about getting new stock out on the floor. read more

You can find a lot of great priced items. Always new selections but the lines are long. Understaffed in my opinion. The parking lot is a nightmare- it's shared w a lot of stores which is great but makes parking tight and hard to get around. Not the business daily but just giving a heads up to anyone going. I went into your Hicksville store on Oyster Bay Rd to return merchandise on July 1st. And one of your employees was helping me and we were approached by the store manager who was extremely rude and condescending to myself and one of her employees. It was extremely embarrassing to both myself and your employee in front of other shoppers. I do a great deal of shopping in Tj Max and I have decided to sever my relationship with Tj Max. Customers should never be treated in this manner. I requested that your manager give me her name and she refused. Please make sure that this behavior does not continue regards. read more

I Literally just left this store and have been going for years... There is a manager with black hair and an inverted bob who was extremely rude, she didn't like the fact that I wasn't called up next by the automated speaker when I got up she stated very loud and rude " I didn't call you up" and proceed to point her finger and tell me to go to the next guy who was actually very sweet. Someone should teach that lady customer service skills, there are ways to speak to people. And she has nerve to speak to me like I was beneath her.. don't be mad at me because u hate your job. Had bought a pair of earbuds from here. Within two months one side stopped working. That is a clearly a manufacturer defect so I went to exchange for a new pair. Apparently the manager, Christy T. cant make an exchange because "it's been a few months." I've seen great customer service from TJMaxx in the past. But expect none from this location. I guess I learned my lesson. read more
