I first learned about Indy Clover through a platform I absolutely hate---Instagram, lol!…read more I guess the whole algorithm thing/location-specialized targeting worked out after all: I saw a post about Indy when I opened up Instagram in Oklahoma City. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about yet another sustainable fashion chain of stores with a unique twist to selling. Unlike Plato's Closet or Buffalo Exchange, Indy Clover takes a step beyond in gathering inventory from its consumers---in addition to the inventory it doesn't have to pay for, sellers can rent a booth in the store and add/price the inventory as they please. Indy takes a cut, and oftentimes it easily comes out of the profits sold by the seller from that week. It's definitely a cool concept, and since I learned about the store in Edmond, I decided to check it out for myself. The store itself is very clean and there was plenty in stock. A lot of other curious shoppers (all women) were browsing as well (I only saw one booth that had clothes for men, but anyone can sell it is not restricted to women). I'm definitely a fan and would probably rent out a booth if they were in Austin, just to try it out for myself. Currently, a location is opening in Las Vegas next month and there is only one location in Texas (Plano). I'm super excited to see how this brand expands and in general, how sustainable fashion is getting trendier with each passing day!

I ran in here with my daughter the other day to try and find some shoes she won't argue with me…read moreabout in the morning. Her tennis shoes are "too sporty" and her Uggs are "too hot". Honestly, I should be annoyed because she is five, but I am not, because I'm like, girl, same. I was hoping for some little Toms or Blowfish, which they have here, or even some Chucks. The child took one look at Chucks and scoffed. Okay.... so I did find a few pairs she liked, like a metallic pair of high tops, and a tie-dye pattern of slip-on Blowfish, but they didn't have those in her size. They honestly had very few options in her size... like just two or three pairs in that section of "not dressy and not sporty". I was disappointed there wasn't more from which to choose. We usually go to Daniels Shoes, and even though it seems tiny by comparison, they always bring out a dozen pairs that fit. Here, I don't think I could have rounded up a dozen pairs in her size. AND, the prices are the same as full-service shops. I'm not sure what the "warehouse" means, except for me, crawling around on my hands and knees on the floor during a pandemic, searching for an elusive size 11.

I really like the selection of products at the store. They carry brands I like and the store always…read morelooks neat and orderly. The prices are comparable to other places that carry similar products. I am giving this place 2 stars because of some of the sales staff. I truly hate feeling like I am being stalked by sales staff, but that is exactly what it feels like, especially on my last visit. I was looking at the Hokas and a young lady comes up and asks me if I am looking at Hokas (I wanted to say something snarky but refrained).. then she says my name is (I forgot her name) and to let her know if I needed help. I continued looking. The entire time I looked she was within 15 feet of me "straightening" and asked me every 5 minutes if I was still doing ok. It reminded me of furniture shopping at Mathis Brothers for those of you out there who have experienced that. I can appreciate someone wanting to do his/her job well, but this was way over the top. This location did not have what I was looking for so the next day, I went to the Norman location. I walked in, was greeted and the young lady said her name was (forgot her name too) and to let her know if I needed help and left me alone to shop. I even thanked her as I was checking out for not being like the location on Memorial.
