    I had the worst experience today at Belk. I went in to return a formal dress that I had purchased…read moreat Gainesville Belk. Shonda, the associate working the return desk, looked at the dress and found a few pieces of lint inside the bottom of the dress, and told me that she couldn't return it because it seemed, from the two pieces of lint inside, that I had worn it. I tried it on but never wore it. I do have a big dog and he may have brushed against the bottom when it was hanging on the door frame at home. I have never been treated like this. All of the tags were on it too. I demanded a manager and she called one over to me. The manager was nice, and she explained how there are certain things they must check(which I had been told already). She returned the dress for me and hinted I should have gone back to Gainesville where I purchased it. The reason I went to Bethlehem was because it was closer this time and had to be returned by the 15th of January. I have been taught that if you work with the public you do everything you can to provide service to the customer in a pleasant and helpful way. I am 76 years old and I will not be treated this way by anyone. I will have a hard time recommending Bethlehem Belk to anyone I know.

    So it's been a long time since I've actually went inside the establishment. I usually do the…read morecurbside pickup if I do have to stop by. They've remodeled and reorganized the whole store. I've noticed lanes are a lot tighter. Like barely fitting two carts side by side. We stopped by the restroom in the back because my son really had to go and surprisingly it was clean. My kids even made a comment about it. Before the update it was pretty sketch and almost always had a foul smell. Pretty average Walmart though stocking needs to be revised. My boys got two items from the toy section with tags of 24.99 and one of the toys rang up 48.99 and the other 56.99. They were stocked shelves with clear labels. It was pretty upsetting but we were in a hurry to go home so I took the L. Someone obviously did their job wrong. Got in the car and took a look at my receipt because the math wasn't mathing between what I bought and what I paid. I also saw my $7 mirror was showing $18.89.. I took it as a reminder why I try not to shop at Walmart nor go in.

    Bought a printer here March 23,2026 this past Monday,April 27,2026, the part that holds the ink…read morecatridges somehow jammed up and wouldnt move therefore printer wouldnt work. took it back in hopes of simply exchanging it and was told you cant do that anymore. so i said well just give me a return and I'll purchase another. I had my reciept it was packed back into its original container with all paperwork inside. i was then told that couldnt do a return because there was only a 30 day periiod for return on electronics and my 30 days was up on April 22. However, posted right behind the associate i was speaking with was a sign that stated, "At WalMart our goal is to satisfy the customer. you can do a return with or without a reciept for 90 days ! No where on said sign did it have posted that electronics were only 30days ! not even in small print ! so the associate informed me that there was "nothing that they could/would do for me ! " What kind of customer service is that ?? needless to say I did NOT leave a happy/satisfied customer and we are out a printer and the money to purchase. The printer was actually for my work so everybody there knows and hopefully is telling everybody they know what an absolute joke Winder WalMart is at handling their customers ! i have 25+ years in retail customer service and i have never, would never allow my customer to leave not satisfied nor would any customer ever be told i couldnt do anything for them !
