T.J. Hooligans was overall better than expected! Our server was great, extremely friendly, fast, and gave recommendations. The restaurant is cute with many beer signs, neons, bikes hanging, and many other things to look at! It is located in a strip mall so parking can be difficult at times but overall easy to park and it has a lot! cheese curds - so crispy and delicious, definitely a lot for 2 people, the ranch was also so delicious and the perfect consistency. Bone in wings (Cajun and garlic Parmesan dry rubs) - the wings were also VERY crispy and great. The dry rubs were good, but what blew us always was the crispiness of the wings! Thai chicken wrap - the tortilla was not too thick which I loved, there was lots of chicken in the wrap, the only thing I would say is that it was pretty saucy so all the bites felt the same and I got tired of it pretty fast. I am also not a wrap person typically so it could be just me! read more

We went last week and I got the chipotle chicken alfredo. It was very good!! The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was nice. It was in the middle of the afternoon so it wasn't real busy or loud. read more

Sat at the bar expecting great service as most ppl understand. Nope, totally ignored by both bartenders and when given our bill did not get eye contact or a thank you. Regret over tipping, or tipping at all. Want to support our local establishments, but not with this treatment. read more

This place rocks. Winning! St patties day was a blast. They have gluten free options and outdoor seating. Who doesn't love a good small town joint with all the things? read more

Music bingo on Thursdays is so much fun!! Food is average but consistent. We always have a great time at TJs.

Comfortable atmosphere. I was there for lunch with an associate and we were able to have a good conversation without the restaurant being loud. I had the Korean Wrap. Flavors were good. I recommend the kitchen trim the meat more. I had to spit out at least three pieces of gristle. The sidewinder fries, that come with sandwiches, are very good. read more

We've been here a lot. I always thought it was so-so. Fine for a local option. I'd give it previously a 2-3 stars. Probably same as the reviews you'll see here on Yelp. However - They got new ownership and a new head cook sometime recently (probably around July or August in 2022). Food quality has greatly improved. Now, they probably have the best wings in the area, pizza is much better, pretty much everything seems to be dialed up a notch. I guess they increased prices by maybe a buck with the new ownership/cook ... but absolute worth the increased quality. We will go here much more often than we used to go. The real Yelp ranking of this place should be 4 stars, and I'd only read other reviews made after August 2022! read more

Wings were alright not the best but not the worst they weren't super saucy, the inside was kinda watery and they weren't crispy wings, went for lunch around noon and the workers were friendly, also the decor was nice to look at!! read more

Food was delicious! Tanner was an amazing server...friendly, attentive, and did an overall great job! We have gone to TJs for date night for years...was concerned that too many changes were going to be made when Dave left...but wow...love sthe pride the new owner has taken with this establishment. The patio has a fresh look with the "privacy" wall and beautiful flowers. read more

Came to TJ Hooligans for lunch between softball games. They got us in right away. Food was amazing. Service was quick and friendly!

Service is always amazing and food is delish! I had the Cowboy burger which is no longer on the menu but they will make it. The bbq sauce really makes the burger! read more

Super score for Prior Lake! The folks here are great, so helpful & friendly in an atmosphere that supports watching the big game while kids of all ages can still feel safe, loved, and allowed to be kids! I first went here for a drink with my best friend one night before we tried our luck at the casino.....well made drinks & fun video games, we couldn't go wrong! The crowd obviously had some regulars and they seemed, all in all, like a beautiful bunch of locals :) The 2nd visit was for lunch with my teen son. This is where the test of value always comes into play ;) We had an appetizer (server had perfect timing) and sandwiches that were obviously made to order (I'm thinking even the turkey was carved freshly because it was so moist?!) Anyway, great family environment & I'm ALWAYS HAPPY 2 frequent our local eateries! read more

Don't get the shrimp tacos OR the chili. The tacos were filled with iceberg lettuce and some measly beer battered shrimp. Not one to complain, but this food was ghastly. I even puked it up. Beer was way overpriced, $10 for a tall. Service was good but you can tell they are short staffed. Won't be returning. read more

This is my first time here. I didn't get to try an actual entree. I just came for drinks and appetizers. But the looks of them and entrees and the smells of those plates was looking and smelling delicious. I had ordered a couple of moscow mules and thai chile chicken wings. Wow those wings were amazing and the drinks were on point. The staff was great as well. read more

Had chicken taco salad it was pretty good Husband had the chicken fingers he liked them order fries and got a huge plate more than we could eat. Only thing about the meal I would change is use grilled chicken in taco salad. Waitress was friendly and checked back several time. read more

The two stars is only for service. A friend and I went here for lunch, very few people here at the time, maybe 4 tables. I ordered a chimichunga and my friend decided on chicken alfredo pasta. We both received a huge plate of food...none of which was good at all!!!! Poor quality, soggy chimi and more beans than anyone would dare eat. The Alfredo was blah and mostly noodles, very little chicken! She liked the breadstick! I left my food there uneaten, my friend brought her meal home for hubby but didn't think he'd eat it! Very disappointing, this place needs a new cook!!! We won't go back, 40.00 bucks and we drank water! read more

Don't let the 1980s decor fool you, this place is great! My son had the homemade chicken wild rice soup and it came with the best breadstick I've ever had! The pizza was a 10! The crust is out of this world amazing! I highly suggest the BBQ chicken pizza. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be going back to this spot many times in the future! read more

T.J. Hooligans has a great atmosphere and a super all-American menu with a few surprises. This is not like your typical hamburger and steak chain - you'll be pleasantly surprised! The drinks are good and they keep 'em coming. The food was great, fast, and hot. The chips could use a little more salt, and the chicken, walleye, and patty melt are all great! read more

I never go to Prior Lake but this night was an exception due to the fact I met up with an old friend from high school who was in need of a drink. This joint wasn't too far from the alchohol-free behemeth, Mystic Lake, so we opted to stop in for a pint. The decor and overall feel of this place is a slight rip of of Applebees with an "Irish twist". However, judging by their menu, drink selection, and decor, the only thing "Irish" about this place was their bar mascot/logo. The wait staff was slightly slow despite only having a few patrons in the place. However, the beer was cheap and served in Mason jars which is always a nice "throwback to the past". They also had a spacious patio that would make having a toddie on a warm night, rather pleasant. Don't expect to be stunned here but if left with few options in Prior Lake, this might be a good starting point. read more

First time here. The classic wings were amazing, ordered them naked with the buffalo for dipping. We both ordered the french dip (menu states with prime rib) and it was the worst I've ever had. A'ju was great but the meat was so tough I could not even bite through the sandwich. Worst ever. Also, the bread must have been made in house because it was undercookedz read more

Excellent food, great environment suitable for family, friends or date night. Wonderful staff! Generous portions! The specialty fries are delicious! We used to come her a lot and then it went down hill. Haven't been here for a few years so we decided we'd try it once again. OMG - food was horrible! I ordered a side salad and the garlic chicken ranch flatbread. My salad has one little slice of onion the size of an olive. My flatbread came out and there was literally no taste to it at all. I think they either over cooked it or forgot something. Yes, it was my fault for not saying anything but I guess when I ate only 1 1/2 pieces of the flatbread I would have expected the server to question why she was taking it back to the kitchen. She also explained the specials to everyone else that arrived after us. The specials that they were serving for that day, I would have tried. We've tried this place and just can't justify the price of so so food. We more than likely will not be back and will let people know of our experience if they ask us about this restaurant. This once was our go to for lunch...Too bad their food has gone downhill. read more
