Today we , 4 of us sat in a dining area, with another family of 4 in the same area. Waited 10 or so minutes just for her to bring us menus, and order drinks. 15min, to bring our drinks, and take our simple food order. We waited and waited. We asked the family next to us and they said they came in like 10 minutes before we did, but they've been waiting over 40 mins. If not more. I asked how much longer she says, about 3 minutes! I saw her bring out 1 item at a time for this table... I was discouraged, they had a baby that was hungry! Ours came out 5 minutes later, same routine, 1 at a time Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Our food was cold and soggy from sitting in the kitchen, waiting for her to serve it. MY sisters fried mushrooms taste like soap, and they were cold! We 1/2assed ate, cyz we were hungry. I hope she made more money working as a bartender, cuz she wasn't a good waitress! Acknowledge your other customers and apologize for the delay, don't just ignore them! THUMBS DOWN! It's a shame, you could improve it by attentive staff that actually like their jobs!

We got two of the breakfast plates, as it was a little too early for the kitchen to do lunch. Though advertised as bacon/sausage, we were automatically given bacon (not sure if they ran out or just forgot to ask if it was supposed to be a choice). The ordering process was simple and food came out very quickly. The place was lively and appeared to be a nice hangout spot under normal operations. Appreciative of the business being open for special hours on Groundhog Day!

My husband's grandfather used to come here often since it was just across the street from where he lived. My husband had been here with him before but my first visit was when we came to town for his grandfather's funeral. A few family members stopped by the bar afterward as a tribute to him. We haven't had many chances to visit Ford City since both of his grandparents passed away. This time, we were visiting our uncle in Kittanning so we decided to stop by to grab our favorite hot sausage. It was around lunchtime and the barstools were already filled with locals. We got our hot sausage and my husband enjoyed a beer with it while we talked about his grandpa and shared some memories. It was a simple visit but a meaningful one. We'd love to stop by again the next time we're in the area.
