He also instructed me to buy the control box needed and to call him when I had it. After getting the part, I called him schedule a day to bring it in. He said the following week would work. I asked what day works and he said he would call me. No call from him, so I called him and he said he was really swamped and it would have to be the following week. Again I asked for a day and he said he would call me on Friday to let me know the day. Again, no call. So the following Monday, I stopped in. Again he said it would have to be the following week which is now approaching my lake Vermillion vacation time, starting on June 2nd but still ok. I said I needed to have a date set and he said Tuesday, the 26th of May. I arrived on Tuesday with my boat and he told me that he talked it over with his guys and that because my motor is a Suzuki he doesn't want to do the project, due to liabilities, and that I should take it to Hallberg Marine because they know Suzuki. He said if it was a Mercury, Honda, or Yamaha, he could do it. Bottom line: Why didn't he just tell me that from the start? I ended up taking it to Warner's Marine in New Richmond, explained my situation, and Nate Warner fit me in, and they have been great! Again, Dayton should have avoided this mess by not taking on the project in the first place. I rarely write a bad review, but in this case I had to. When my husband took our 2022 Tucson to Walser, they told him that the rear blinker was on the fritz because of water in our rear lamps, which they falsely claimed was "due to collision damage" and therefore "not covered under warranty." They charged us $127 just to look at our bumper, then gave us an estimate for almost $4,000 to repair a problem that their own technician described as "already a known issue on these guys." We told them that this vehicle had never been in a collision, but they ignored us and falsely wrote on our invoice that collision damage was the cause of the problem. When I returned later to ask if a tear in the plastic (caused by a tire blowout 2 years ago) was the same thing as damage to the bumper, a representative confirmed that it was not. Nevertheless, she insisted that the technician had found a crack in the bumper when they looked under the car. That was their second falsehood. She offered to put it on the lift again, and when they checked again, behold, they found no damage to the bumper. The service manager admitted that the tear in the plastic could not possibly have affected the water in the center taillight (which is at the bottom of the hatchback), but she told me that a tear in the plastic could have caused the condensation in the taillight, because it had broken a seal, allowing water to enter. Another untruth, as it turned out. I later crawled under the car to personally have a look, and found out that it couldn't possibly be true. The manager said that she would contact Hyundai to see if they would cover the center light. She said it would take about 24 hours to get an answer. The next morning, she texted my husband to say that they submitted the request to Hyundai the day before, "and they are still deciding if they are going to participate in helping with the cost of rear lamp assembly. Hopefully they will have some kind of decision for me today." That was their last communication. After getting caught in so many falsehoods, it appears they thought it was just easier to drop all communications. That's when I made an appointment at Buerkle Hyundai, and (oh my) what a difference was that experience. I explained the problem and the damage to the plastic behind the wheel, and they immediately offered to submit a goodwill request to Hyundai to cover the charge. They said they might receive an answer in 10 minutes, but it might take an hour. What? You mean it doesn't take over 24 hours to get an answer from the Hyundai headquarters? (For those keeping score at home; that was Walser's fourth falsehood to us.) After Buerkle submitted the request, Hyundai approved the repair in less than an hour. Buerkle had the part in stock, and the whole experience, from driving in, to getting approval for covering the cost, to repairing the problem, took less than 3 hours. Everyone I spoke with at Buerkle was tremendously friendly and helpful, but a special shoutout to Danni. She's a gem, and Buerkle should give her a raise and a promotion. Walser Hyundai charged us $127, and their only service was to treat us disrespectfully and feed us a pack of untruths. (I'm not sure what the industry standard might be for charging customers for falsehoods, but $127 seems kinda pricey.) Then they handed us a $4,000 estimate to repair a problem that they knew could have been covered by Hyundai, if only they would take the trouble to submit the request. Buerkle Hyundai fixed the entire problem in under 3 hours, and they threw in a free car wash and snacks. The total bill for the visit? $0.00. Buerkle has earned two new customers. I hope this review wins them many more.

I documented and THIS DEALERSHIP didn't allow me to work directly with the technician. Compare that with Morries - I absolutely recommend them- where the technician was honest with me that Hyundai F'ed up (MY word) their PHEV HVAC system - that the floor heat is prioritied last - when outdoor is under 20 degrees and lower don't expect floor heat. WHO EVER THOUGHT WE NOW NEED TO ASK if the heat will work in the winter? To add more facts: dashboard heat was 60 degrees warmer than the floor when all heat is directed to feet only (logged over 2 months with a meat thermometer) - I brought all my testing to LUTHER and they said - hybrids are known for this. NO THEY ARE NOT! My Lexus worked great. Regardless, it is working as designed. Although I purchased the 10 year service plan, Luther had made the sale and post sale - if you don't fit into their troubleshooting flow chart - get the customer out the door. Why i am not happy with Luther is the ego - that nothing I said mattered. ON THE OTHERHAND, Morries totally cared and agreed with everything I said BUT EXPLAINED to me what the criteria he needed to prove so that corporate would assist us. We own 2 Hyundais and the other isn't PHEV and works great. We were up for purchasing a car but FOR SURE NOT WITH LUTHER dealerships and not a Hyundai. Luther dealership FAILED to be honest during the sale. The PHEV HVAC system is a known customer complaint. Luther would only follow their process - that it is working as designed - however it certainly doesn't meet Minnesota requirements. My previous car was a Lexus Hybrid and LOVED IT! The only reason I let it go is it wasn't tall enough when competing with semi trucks and SUVs. So my suggestions is if working with Hyundai be sire the HVAC system works and no to Luther bit a HUGE YES to Morries.

I spoke with Shane on the phone before coming in and in person when dropping off and picking up my bike. In every conversation and interaction, I felt comfortable and got genuine, honest, great vibes. Shane called just 1.5 days after I dropped it off and told me it was ready to pick up. I was pleasantly surprised. Then, when he explained what they did (and what they didn't need to do), and the cost, I was shocked! Prior to dropping it off, we had discussed a few options for the air suspension, depending on what the issue was. Plus, I had explained I was a new rider and that the bike was new to me; so being a green, female rider without a lot of bike knowledge and an unknown issue, I expected the worst.... But that was not what Gilby's provided. They were honest about what the issue was and what they didn't need to do and they gave me a fair and reasonable price. They had every opportunity to overcharge me or get more out of me, but they didn't. Finally, when I went to pick it up, they had washed it! I couldn't be happier with the work Gilby's did, but even more, with the way they treated me. I will absolutely be going here for any/all future bike needs and will recommend them to everyone. However, after taking the bike out for a ride, I noticed oil blowing onto my saddlebag. I brought the bike right back just to ask a quick question and show them the mess. Instead of a simple two-minute look, I was told by their new office guy that I needed to make an appointment just to have someone look at it. I wanted to show the mechanic the issue, get his quick thoughts, and then schedule a service appointment if necessary. Being told to book an appointment just to ask a question about work that was just completed is a total lack of customer service. To make matters worse, Gilbey was sitting right next to me in his pickup on the phone the entire time, completely unavailable. It seems Gilbeys has gotten too big for basic, personal interactions.
