My friends have given me good feedback, and so I feel confident in writing this review because I don't typically write public reviews. They have helped both my wife and me with our wheel and tire needs, and the best part is that they help us find solutions that perform great, come at reasonable prices, and treat us like family through it all. We now live in the western suburbs, and it is worth the drive across town. In fact, my wife and I bring both of our vehicles in for service together because they give us a loaner vehicle, and so we go into town to grab a bite to eat. It's great! It's a family owned business, and they really do love what they do. I'm proud to support Fred's Tire.

I can't thank Mitch, Wayne, and the team at Auto Works enough for your customer service, quality of work, and kindness you showed me. I so appreciate your service & you have found a loyal customer in return. Thank you, thank you!

We discovered Bowens garage and they have been unbelievable service. They have been understanding that we are not from the area and very kind to my daughter. I waited for a call but never got one so I rode my bike to work at night in the snow. After graveyard shift I rode by bowens and didn't see my car in the parking lot. I looking in the garage and didn't see it in there either. I had an apple air tag in the car and tracked it. I know apple air tags are very accurate to the foot. I was standing in the parking lot and my phone said my car was right where I was standing but it wasn't. I called them when they opened on Saturday and they said they couldn't reach me because they didn't have my phone number! Even though I had recently talk to them on the phone. When I went to pick it up, my car had an extra 39 miles on the odometer. I know for a fact that it doesn't take 39 miles to road test the alignment. I'm thinking someone took my car home for the night or something. Am I over reacting? Is there a more reasonable explanation?

Absolutely amazing!…read more I was skeptical going to an auto shop connected to a gas station but I'm SOOO glad I did. WHAT HAPPENED: I blew out a run flat on an AWD vehicle in the evening not long before closing time. I called several large chains who specialize in tires closer to my flat location who all told me crazy things from "they didn't have the equipment to take my tire off and they'd have to cut it off and replace it with a regular tire" to "I could play for a regular set of tires then but a set of run flats when they ordered some" (aka pay for two sets of tires). HOW THEY HELPED: I called North Oaks Auto Service at the urging of a friend. Josh assured me they could handle my tire no problem and waited for me to arrive despite the fact he was getting ready to close. While they didn't have 4 tires that would fit my car they were able to get 4 tires in first thing the next morning and have me on my way by 10am! Amazing service and customer service. Competitive price. Super friendly team. Would completely trust them with my car again.
