I documented and THIS DEALERSHIP didn't allow me to work directly with the technician. Compare that with Morries - I absolutely recommend them- where the technician was honest with me that Hyundai F'ed up (MY word) their PHEV HVAC system - that the floor heat is prioritied last - when outdoor is under 20 degrees and lower don't expect floor heat. WHO EVER THOUGHT WE NOW NEED TO ASK if the heat will work in the winter? To add more facts: dashboard heat was 60 degrees warmer than the floor when all heat is directed to feet only (logged over 2 months with a meat thermometer) - I brought all my testing to LUTHER and they said - hybrids are known for this. NO THEY ARE NOT! My Lexus worked great. Regardless, it is working as designed. Although I purchased the 10 year service plan, Luther had made the sale and post sale - if you don't fit into their troubleshooting flow chart - get the customer out the door. Why i am not happy with Luther is the ego - that nothing I said mattered. ON THE OTHERHAND, Morries totally cared and agreed with everything I said BUT EXPLAINED to me what the criteria he needed to prove so that corporate would assist us. We own 2 Hyundais and the other isn't PHEV and works great. We were up for purchasing a car but FOR SURE NOT WITH LUTHER dealerships and not a Hyundai. Luther dealership FAILED to be honest during the sale. The PHEV HVAC system is a known customer complaint. Luther would only follow their process - that it is working as designed - however it certainly doesn't meet Minnesota requirements. My previous car was a Lexus Hybrid and LOVED IT! The only reason I let it go is it wasn't tall enough when competing with semi trucks and SUVs. So my suggestions is if working with Hyundai be sire the HVAC system works and no to Luther bit a HUGE YES to Morries.

I didn't have a lot of faith they would be able to fix it, considering the dealer couldn't figure it out. But Larsen Motors took the time, diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue. Throughout the process, they were friendly and took the time to listen to me, two more things i didn't get from the dealer. Had a super experience here recently before a roadtrip. Wanted to get new wiper blades and light bulbs since I tend to do a lot of night time driving. Staff were busy, probably about a half dozen customers in the store. I normally look for the items myself via vehicle parts search on their website; found them, brought the items up to the register. A really kind and knowlegable gal (and here, I'm apologetic that I don't remember her name) helped me by verifying that I was getting the correct blades/bulbs for my vehicle (they weren't lol). She helped me get the correct stuff and even offered to help replace them for me--I was very grateful. I've switched out blades/bulbs on my own, but she was so kind and patient while she did that for me. She really gave me a moment to just be still and collect myself from the hectic day I was having. She also did not make me feel less than, or dumb, or anything like that at anytime, she was perfectly calm and confident about it all. Thank you, gal from AutoZone. They also forewarn that this shop is usually busy; however, would be worth the wait due to quality services and affordable pricing. After reading the reviews, I've decided this is the place to bring my car for the repair. I'm not sure when is the best time to call since they are usually busy. Fortunately, I was able to secure a spot on a short notice. Two days later, I dropped off the car right before the shop opened and got it back within two hours. Additional information: this is a corner lot shop with 5-6 car parking lot. There is no waiting space. Dave, thank you for providing quick, quality service!
