Location is convenient however there are times where it's a bit difficult trying to get out from the plaza due to the amount of cars. Store is pretty big, love the layout. I usually only get things that are on sale from T&T as their prices are on the higher end. I love their bakery goods and dessert.

Came here just to buy these peanuts, but I discovered there was much more.

Love this market! So much prepared foods and great pricing. I could get a boba milk tea for about $2.5, most excellent on that alone. But the baos and dim sum, are excellent. It's an adventure each time. I downloaded their app to get rewards as well since I know I'll be back and it's always helpful to know where there is another T&T for snacks and necessities.

This is my least favorite T&T; it's much smaller and lacks variety, especially in their bakery department. I find the prices are higher than my go-to location at 7070 Warden Avenue. It's a good choice if you live in the area, or happen to be shopping in the plaza and need a few items. It would be ideal if they kept their prices consistent.

During this isolation period, it's good to see that all the employees are wearing masks and they are limiting the number of customers into the store. There's also marked lines at the butcher counter so that the customers are properly spaced out. The shelves are semi empty, as you can tell that some items such as sauces are not being replenish. I guess I would not be making a curry dish anytime soon. If you don't enjoy cooking like me, preparing a Chinese Hot Pot dinner is one of the easiest meals. I've included photos to show you the possible ingredients you can use to make the traditional hot pot dipping sauce. Each person will customize their own dipping sauce. In terms of the meats, there is a great selection of prepared sliced meats in the freezer section. You just need to get some veggies, tofu to add to the hot pot and you have a delicious meal! So easy!!

After being to T&T for groceries so many times we finally had the opportunity to eat there. We got 15 veggie and meat dumplings and then filled a bowl with ingredients of our choice for them to cook. There were a few different types of greens, seafood like mussels and shrimp, tofu/bean curd in a few different forms, fish/meat/shrimp balls and kelp. Once you reach a certain price they give you a choice of noodles complimentary. The cost is based on how much what you've chosen weighs. Once receipts are printed you take it over to the cash to pay and wait for your steaming hot food. The skin on the dumplings were thicker than what I'm normally used to but it was yummy nonetheless. I liked that they gave you some greens with it. The other bowl of goodness was on the salty side. Perhaps too much soy sauce was added. The shrimp were a touch overcooked since they were fully cooked to begin with and then cooked again with all the other ingredients. There are disposable chopsticks by the cash register and other eating utensils by the sink. There are a few condiments by the sink as well but unfortunately there wasn't any vessels to put them in. We had to improvise and put vinegar in a mussel shell. Overall, it was a decent meal.

It seems this aging supermarket located in the Cachet Centre at Woodbine Ave and 16th Ave is busy and the parking lot is almost full most of the time. There is a large fruits and vegetables department here as well as the standard bakery, seafood, meats, housewares, dairy, etc. You can also buy a large assortment of hot prepared meals plus bbq meats for take out. I can say that this store is very clean and the product displays are amazingly organized and appealing! Overall product prices are competitive with most Asian grocery chains. Checkout was efficient even with social distancing measures. The cashier was very friendly and thanked us; quite surprising and unusual!

This is a big Asian supermarket. They have just about anything that you could want including hot food, a bakery, a meat section, candy, etc. They have lots of Asian snacks like dried plums, Kit Kat in odd flavors, chocolate and chips. It is a dollar for a cart but you get it back when you return it.

T & T just opened up a brand new location at Woodbine and 16th! Open everyday from 9 am to Midnight! This store is big, since this used to be No Frills and National Sports Centre.... and with the bigger retail space, T & T is able implement something a little different than others in the area. Now there is a section where you see fresh Northern Dim Sum/Dumplings being prepared... you can either buy them cooked for immediate consumption or the uncooked one to boil/steam/fried them at home and pretend you made themyourself! There is also now a little booth making fresh Korean fish shape pastry. There are also a bigger selections of baked goods, Asian twist of Western pastries?! This T & T seems to be a lot well stocked than the Milliken location with a bigger selections of Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese products. There is also a great selections of "Canadian" groceries and even a whole aisle of healthy/organic food products. As usual, since the store just opened and having special sale: $3.99/lb lobster! and other specials... this place is a ZOO!!!!!!! Luckily, all the cashiers were opened and there was no wait at all to cash out.... BUT the hard part is to find a parking spot. I was here on a Friday early afternoon and the parking lot was jam packed!!! I feel sorry for other business that shares the same parking lot. Hopefully, all these hype would die down soon............ Be Careful NOT to run over other people with your shopping cart.... Breathe and Be Patient!

Picked up some precooked food and to enjoy at home. Noticed T&T has changed their takeout containers from the black plastic to paper based. Probably one of the better precooked food from a supermarket and from the T&T supermarket chain. But it is still a little greasy for me and more bone than meat, so I'll probably pickup takeout from a Chinese foodcourt next time.

Chicago's Chinatown has nothing compares to this market. Where go I even begin?! How about just the prepared food section? I haven't seen some of the dishes since childhood. No need to cook if you live near by. They have it all.

This place is slightly hard to find. It's located in a dogey plaza in the east end of Markham. I…read moreonly found out of this place through a friend because she brought in some really tasty meats for our last BBQ. I don't think I would have ever stepped into this place otherwise. Once you enter in, someone greets you and asks you what you want. Everything is pre-bagged so you just tick off which meats you want and they pull it out of the tray or fridge for you. I ordered a bag of kalbi ribs, two bags of chicken thighs in different flavours. I don't find the kalbi really tasty for some reason. Maybe the marinade is too light but I wasn't a fan of the texture of the meat either. The chicken thighs on the other hand kicked it out of the ball park. The curry one is soooo juicy and delicious and I love the flavours. Prices are pretty good too. I can't remember exactly how much it was but I think the 3 bags were under $30 and they were more than enough to feed a family of 6.

Tried this place once to get meat for bbq and got the beef short ribs, lemongrass chicken, squid,…read moreand chicken wings. Everything is marinated beforehand so this would be great if you planned a last minute bbq. I would get everything but the squid again. The squid didn't have any unique flavour to it and was quite bland in my opinion. If you get it I would recommend adding some sauce prior to putting it on the grill. As a side note, the shop's location has changed, which is shown on a notice at the door. They are located at another unit, called Ah Fong, in the same plaza. The plaza itself is super run down but don't judge a book by its cover - the meat here is amazing!

Go big or go home! I am a HUGE fan of anything bbq'd. Hubby and I are always searching for the best…read morebutcher that sells all of our fav cuts. Last Summer we were craving some Wagyu cuts. We have tried a few places in and around Markham that sell Wagyu, but non of them blew us away. I decided to do a random search for Japanese Butchers and Wagyu and came across FãMu Inc. which is listed as "The only Japanese Butcher in Ontario". FãMu is the Japanese pronunciation of farm. They are all about animals that are pasture or free-run, raised without chemicals, antibiotics, hormones or animal bi-products. Located in J Town, an indoor/outdoor mall of Japanese businesses located On Steeles Avenue E near Woodbine in Markham. (LOVED the shops at J Town!!). We have had several great experiences with this shop since our first visit 9 months ago. Everyone in shop is very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the cuts they sell. Our first try of FãMu we purchased the A5 Wagyu Miyazaki Striploin. BBQ'd on the grill for 2 min on each side (as per the butchers recommendation), the cuts were bbq'd to perfection and just melted in our mouths. I have never eaten a steak anywhere that was so perfectly marbled and so tender. I would say it was easily one of the best steaks I have ever had! The next would be the Australian Wagyu Ribeye we picked up (15oz cuts). A little on the pricey side, but WOW, you get what you pay for and no better way to indulge in a perfect steak bbq. Some of the cuts of Japanese Wagyu they sell are: Kobe - A5 Kuromame Nagi - A5 Furano - A5 Miyazaki (Miyazakigyu)- A5 Hokkaido (Tokachi) - A5 Various Regions Of Japan - A4 Plus ~ Australian Wagyu, US Wagyu, Chicken, Berkshire Pork, Wagyu burgers and Wagyu slices for Sukiyaki Hot Pots and more! During 2 of our recent visits we also tried their Double Wagyu Beef Bowl. Thinly sliced pieces of Wagyu seasoned with in store made terriyaki/soy sauce over a bed of steamed rice. Small portion for the cost, but filling and THE most tender beef bowl you will ever try! Not sure about which cut to try, visit their website and you can get detailed info on each cut, you can also stop in and ask or order online. In shop everyone is very warm, friendly and happy to help if you have any questions.
