It had numerous layers of fabric from past upholstery efforts and just needed an overhaul. I found a reasonably priced (and unique froggie ) fabric that went well with the off-white paint, and they created a new back and new firm cushion with it. It's in my office now and goes so well with the decor, plus it's comfortable so my husband likes to use it too. I felt the price was very good @ $140. Also, there are all kinds of cool pillows in this shop, you can create a whole new look in your living room from a few of these funky pillows.

I went with leather replacements (some of the original was actually vinyl, not real leather!!!). They matched everything perfectly, right down to the red top-stitching, and it looks just like new. He was up front and honest and let us know that due to the construction and age of the table that while he could make it look good, he couldn't make it look brilliant. He even got us a great deal on some protective glass to complete the look and protect the table for even longer. Mark was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was kind, professional and best of all, very honest when it came to explaining what reasonable expectations for the finished product would be.
