Walking in the first time, the store is a major surprise. It takes quite a while to actually get…read morearound and look at all the options. Yes, beautiful fresh meats behind the counter but so much more. Frozen dinners, frozen soups, all kinds of quicky dinner mains. Sides of all kinds, along with a full complement of deli meats, salads of all kinds and description, sausages, stuffed meats. From the eye-popping displays to the variety, it's hard to make a decision knowing this could add up like a trip to Costco. The prices--nice--affordable. The staff behind the fresh meat counter are very accommodating with portions. I'm shopping for two, not an army. The meats we've tried so far have been very good, tasty, fresh, and I have more confidence in getting meat that is actually healthy and not a product full of chemicals or close to spoilage. Still, the chicken thighs we got recently were rather oddly cut; the only quibble I've had so far. I have many more choices to try--and I plan to.

They always have items in stock and I have not ever had to take anything back. A couple of times I've had random employees walk up and ask if I needed any help just on deciding which kind of product I was interested in. No clutter. They also have a bank inside. I've never had the pleasure of having to use it. But it does stay busy. I really enjoy just walking around and seeing different items they have on display. And if you like sushi, my favorite guy Biso makes a mean California roll and just about anything you can put in that wonderful tempted palette of yours:) I would recommend this place for sure. The steak Tacos and the Ark-Mex rice was amazing. I was so excited that they were opening a new Tacos and Tamales in Fayetteville! It had been years since my last visit to Bombers, but they absolutely came through for us with a…read moreMother's Day pickup order. We ordered the Black Bullet party pack which comes with two pounds of brisket and two large sides. We went with fries and beans, and also added ribs, mac and cheese, and buns to the order. The brisket is still the star of the show. The spice rub on it is perfect, and it's so tender that it's unreal. The fries are exactly the kind of battered fries I like which was a pleasant surprise because I feel like not many places do them that way. The beans were okay... a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but they had huge chunks of pork in them that I definitely appreciated. We also added two slabs of ribs, and they fell right off the bone. I'm usually not a huge ribs person, but these were well cooked and flavorful. Mom loved them, and that's what really matters. We did have a few small issues with the order. We realized that our mac and cheese was unfortunately missing when we got home. They also ran out of pretzel buns midway through packing things up, so we ended up with a mix of pretzel and brioche buns instead. Honestly, we didn't mind that one too much because it gave us a chance to try both (I'd pick pretzel if I were you). When we picked up the order the place was absolutely packed, so it was hard to be upset over an honest mistake. They were clearly incredibly busy. I still don't really care for the sweeter sauce that tastes heavily like peppers to me, but their vinegar-based sauce (which I think is their original?) was much better than I remember. I'm glad to see this place is still around and still holds up after all this time. More importantly, the brisket is every bit as good as I remembered.

I wouldn't get it again. We also got the farfalle alla buttera and we added shrimp. Both the shrimp and chicken unfortunately were over cooked. The sauce was on the bland side. Just wasn't for us this time around. We also got a spicy peach tini- it was pretty good but had too many jalapeño seeds on it.

I worked closely with Meghann Streicher to build our entire wedding day plan. She helped coordinate our timeline, cocktail hour, drinks, dinner, and dessert. Throughout months of planning, Meghann and her team were responsive, encouraging, and full of great ideas--without ever being pushy when we were indecisive. On the big day, our event director, Nate, was an absolute superstar. His calm presence instantly put us at ease. He is a true professional who kept everything running flawlessly. I loved that his staff quietly visited each table to dismiss guests for the buffet. This kept the atmosphere intimate and didn't interrupt the dinner music from our DJ (Windy City Sound). The food was spectacular--delicious, perfectly cooked, and served at the ideal temperature. Our guests raved about it! SBR was incredibly thoughtful with the details. They provided kids' meals with fruit cut into cute shapes, and they even reminded us to order vendor meals (which I had totally forgotten). One guest required a dairy-free meal and told us it was one of the best meals she had ever eaten, gushing over how attentive the staff was. As a full-service company, they truly handle everything. At the end of the night, they teamed up with the venue staff to box up leftovers, clear tables, and clean. I expected to help, but they had it completely covered and sent us on our way.
