However, in the last six months, I've had issues one after another, either to get it to pass smog test and some performance hiccups here and there. It is aging and as much as I could, I've always been on top with preventative maintenance and upkeep. Nonetheless, it's a mechanical and electronic object and things are bound to crop up over time. And that's what brings me to do an update with Ed. Whenever I feel something is "just off" with my Jeep, I place a call with him and he listens to give me advice. A couple times, he recommended I change something on my own to save money and I do, his advice was spot on. And other times, when I feel it's over my head, I bring it in and Ed will plot out how we go forward. Everything he's fixed has been spot on and the repairs stick! Ed has become my regular mechanic and I'm glad to have someone on my side and has my back. With all the time I spend in my Jeep, I almost feel like it's my second home and its well being is paramount to my lifestyle. That lines up with what I've experienced, and it sounds like a lot of the older negative reviews were from the previous operation. Today was the clincher for me. I came in expecting to buy new brake pads because I thought I heard squeaking, and I also needed an oil change. They checked it out and told me straight up: you don't even need brake pads right now. Not only are they great for quick oil changes, they have an awesome mechanic on site who can do all kinds of repairs. I had a coolant leak on my 2019 BMW X3 and they were able to locate the leak (was leaking at the coolant reservoir attachment point to radiator, so really hard to identify) and get it fixed for a reasonable price and short amount of time. They've won a new customer in me!
