    M J C Motors - some of the faults

Avoid those cowboys at all cost. Cars they are selling are…read morenot only in bed condition but they are profoundly dangerous to drive. The car I bought started suffering from major defects in the first week since I purchased it. This includes: faulty EGR, traction control, collision control, Faulty DPF, oil pressure. Rear wheels had couple of nuts missing and one of remaining nuts was loose. There was not a single week without any problems. The car mechanic they use : Rasell from K.R. autos needed three attempts and three weeks to clean the EGR valve and another month to replace it. MJC not only disrespect you as a customer but they disregard any legal requirements. I tried to exercise my consumer rights (consumer rights act 2015) and I tried to return the car twice. On both occasion they not only laughed into my face but also became unpleasantly aggressive. I have spent some time (unfortunately after buying the car) to analyse some positive reviews they have on FB. It looks like most of them are from fake FB accounts with no activity. Warrantywise they sell is worthless. And it is used by MJC as a gimmick to sell you some junk. At one point, during one of the disputes, they suggested to use WarrantyWise with hope that I would get a full refund from WarrantyWise if its decided that my car is not repairable. Those people are not unprofessional, those people are dangerous.

I have seen 2 yelp reviews and I am so lucky as I didnt heed Andrew H review…read more An absolute joke of a business (if you can call it that). I will also be putting a review on Google. I arranged finance of £7000 to buy a decent motor, looked around and found these guys, selling a Vauxhall Zafira Tourer SRi on a 15 plate for £6995. I told them I wanted it on the Thursday at around 2pm but to give them time get it ready I said I would collect the following day (Friday) at 10:30am....then this is where it started to get stupidly funny and ridiculously lacking in common sense....My finance agent called them to arrange this but they stated that if I wanted to collect in Friday, the next day, I would need to put a £100 holding fee? Now I do understand this if I asked them to hold it for a few days + but the very next day??? My agent then told them that I would be there on the same day at 4:30pm to collect but they said they cant do that (so had to be next day anyway) My agent argued with them that they could potentially lose a £7k sale all for a £100 holding fee so they eventually waivered it. Came to collect it on the Friday, it was sat there, had been moved as it was now outside their office ready for collection, it was clean inside and out, looking really good until he put the key in the ignition...Tyre sensor light came on, he said that he inflated all tyres so its ok, just ignore that, I was like "errr, NO!!" then the big one, the engine light came on, Im starting to get concerned now, he said "oh that will be the O2 sensor" I asked if he knew that for certain and he said no as it didn't come on yesterday to which I replied "Not interested in what happened yesterday, its on now". I asked what he was going to do and he just stood there like a lemon, until my colleague, who is a qualified car mechanic of 30 years, said its best to put the computer on it to find out the error code. Mechanic came out, put it on, then said its the Cam Sensor and Cam chain. This is not an easy fix, needs at least a day. I said I am going for a cuppa and i will call in an hour to find what you are doing about it. I called back and you wont believe what he said...."I contacted my Boss and he said its absolutely fine to drive, take it home and then we can arrange a date for you to bring it back so we can get it sorted" I asked when can that be and he said "It will be done around the first 2 weeks of January" So...They expected me to hand over £7k, drive away a car that is unworthy, drive away a car knowing that it would make it worse and expect me to bring it back 2 weeks in Jan to get it repaired!!!! These guys are from a different planet!!! I just said "Ok, sale over, thanks for wasting my time and losing a £7k sale" The MOT was due in August and they refused to get another, so lied about that as they knew it would cost them big bucks to rectify both issues The Boss man was apparently on holiday so he left a Monkey in charge, he knew diddly squat about cars and just stood their like a complete numpty not knowing what to do. TO THE OWNER OF THIS BAD EXCUSE FOR A CAR SALES BUSINESS...EMPLOY A HUMAN AND NOT EITHER A MONKEY OR A ROBOT plus GO ON GOOGLE AND SEARCH WHAT "GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE & CARE" IS AS YOUR BUSINESS HAS NONE. Charges should be pressed against this company for false advertising on all accounts!!!!

I hope adam the clown and his monkey boy get caught out for this one day. please avoid or at least take a mechanic with you before parting with any cash!!!!!!
