I have seen 2 yelp reviews and I am so lucky as I didnt heed Andrew H review.
An absolute joke of a business (if you can call it that). I will also be putting a review on Google.
I arranged finance of £7000 to buy a decent motor, looked around and found these guys, selling a Vauxhall Zafira Tourer SRi on a 15 plate for £6995. I told them I wanted it on the Thursday at around 2pm but to give them time get it ready I said I would collect the following day (Friday) at 10:30am....then this is where it started to get stupidly funny and ridiculously lacking in common sense....My finance agent called them to arrange this but they stated that if I wanted to collect in Friday, the next day, I would need to put a £100 holding fee? Now I do understand this if I asked them to hold it for a few days + but the very next day??? My agent then told them that I would be there on the same day at 4:30pm to collect but they said they cant do that (so had to be next day anyway) My agent argued with them that they could potentially lose a £7k sale all for a £100 holding fee so they eventually waivered it.
Came to collect it on the Friday, it was sat there, had been moved as it was now outside their office ready for collection, it was clean inside and out, looking really good until he put the key in the ignition...Tyre sensor light came on, he said that he inflated all tyres so its ok, just ignore that, I was like "errr, NO!!" then the big one, the engine light came on, Im starting to get concerned now, he said "oh that will be the O2 sensor" I asked if he knew that for certain and he said no as it didn't come on yesterday to which I replied "Not interested in what happened yesterday, its on now". I asked what he was going to do and he just stood there like a lemon, until my colleague, who is a qualified car mechanic of 30 years, said its best to put the computer on it to find out the error code. Mechanic came out, put it on, then said its the Cam Sensor and Cam chain. This is not an easy fix, needs at least a day. I said I am going for a cuppa and i will call in an hour to find what you are doing about it. I called back and you wont believe what he said...."I contacted my Boss and he said its absolutely fine to drive, take it home and then we can arrange a date for you to bring it back so we can get it sorted" I asked when can that be and he said "It will be done around the first 2 weeks of January"
So...They expected me to hand over £7k, drive away a car that is unworthy, drive away a car knowing that it would make it worse and expect me to bring it back 2 weeks in Jan to get it repaired!!!! These guys are from a different planet!!! I just said "Ok, sale over, thanks for wasting my time and losing a £7k sale" The MOT was due in August and they refused to get another, so lied about that as they knew it would cost them big bucks to rectify both issues
The Boss man was apparently on holiday so he left a Monkey in charge, he knew diddly squat about cars and just stood their like a complete numpty not knowing what to do.
TO THE OWNER OF THIS BAD EXCUSE FOR A CAR SALES BUSINESS...EMPLOY A HUMAN AND NOT EITHER A MONKEY OR A ROBOT plus GO ON GOOGLE AND SEARCH WHAT "GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE & CARE" IS AS YOUR BUSINESS HAS NONE.
Charges should be pressed against this company for false advertising on all accounts!!!! read more
