As this had a new MOT we assumed that the vehicle was in a roadworthy condition. As it transpires the vehicle had a serious steering defect. They have a decent selection of cars available, which are parked out on the street during their opening hours. Their window display also has a whiteboard showing their full stock list. Their repair and MOT centre does a brisk trade. As I have a pretty old car I have trouble with it from time-to-time and I always ask the fellas there to take a look. Most of the time they simply offer advice (such as the time my wife left the car without petrol in it.....rather embarrassing!) but on the odd occasions they have done actual work on the car they have always been reasonable in their estimates and prices.
