Having been a loyal customer since buying my BMW 1 series from Godfrey Hall who in turn took it to ace garage for mot tests when it was three years old, I am now deeply disappointed in the latest transactions I have had with them
I had a locking problem with the car which kept suggesting that the boot door was open which it wasn't. I referred it to ace garage, who in turn transferred it to Motorite in Warwick to resolve the problem. A bill of over £500 was then paid and it appeared that the problem had been resolved.
However the same fault has now appeared again and a diagnostic check reveals that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, but it is apparent that something is wrong as the vehicle keeps repeating the fault and now it is proving hard to lock and repeats the fault with alarming regularity. The original fault then climaxed with the car completely shutting down. Will this happen again.
After contacting Motorite they didn't wish to discuss and the phone disconnected, Strange....
Also, I had a service completed at ace garage in June 2017. It was therefore with surprise that the oil light came on. I took it to the garage and was told that this was a regular fault and had oil put in. The car had never lost oil. And strangely, as I was inadvertantly show how to check the oil, not a drop has been lost...... Strange
