Quoted £95 for the repair to 1 item which I agreed to and told them not to fix the second as I would return with my tools to fix (was a simple case of securing an earth). Once I arrived with my tools 30 mins later, they had fixed the item I told them not too and were just about to start on the second. The work took longer than expected and then I was greeted with a bill of just over £180 for the work on both items (despite telling them not to do some of the work) I put my view across to the staff member on reception (possibly manager) who was fairly rude and aggressive in his response. The work done was to a reasonable standard but I will not be returning.

I called A&J and Jim fitted me in straightaway, even though it was obvious when I got there that he had loads of other jobs on. He made the car safe to drive, ordered the parts needed and they did the repair the next day for a decent price. She keeps the boys in the garage in check and has fantastic customer service skills. She remembers everyone's name when they come in and if I have had to wait before seeing her, she is alway apologetic. In fact, the noticeboard in the office is full of letters saying thank you and commending the place and the excellent customer service. The lads who work in the garage are very nice too. My car has never needed to stay over night and I usually get it back at the end of the day if I have booked it in early in the morning. Once, my car needed quite a lot doing to it, but they phoned me before they went ahead with it as it was going to be pricey and wanted to ensure I still wanted to go through with it. I thought that this was really professional and fair. They also always offer to give me a lift back home, which is not too far away, which is very kind too. I like this place as the staff are brilliant and they are professional and treat my car well. Very trustworthy and helpful people.

On an obviously very busy Friday afternoon. I was informed that it may take until the next Wednesday before the car could be assessed. By the next Wednesday, the car had been assessed (I suspect an engineer stayed late for this), the sizable part had been ordered, received and fitted. Communication was excellent,staring on Monday morning.I collected the car that afternoon, it had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. I'd been using the car as a mobile skip as attics, sheds and gardens needed to be cleared out prior to moving house, so the vehicle was in bit of a state. Some moss was growing in places.
