I truly appreciate that they listened and responded by sending very professional representatives to my home to meet with me, hear me out, and discuss what could be done. After talking everything over with my family, we ultimately decided to keep the fence exactly the way it is. What changed my feelings about the company was the way they handled my concerns. They did not simply dismiss me -- they showed up, listened, treated me with respect, and were willing to make changes to help make things right. That meant a great deal to me and restored my confidence in the company. I now have a much higher level of respect for Vinyl Concepts and appreciate the professionalism they showed throughout the resolution process. We hired Vinyl Concepts through Home Depot over 15 years ago to install our fence and two gates. We…read morehave a corner lot so entire fence is visible from street. Fence came out spectacular and we received a lot of compliments. We had a problem with one of the gates and other than some confusion on which Vinyl Concepts did the install, they came out and fixed it. Didn't even charge us. Customer service was great. A few months ago I had to call them again to get an estimate to repair and or replace some loose posts and cement blocks. Again, customer service was great. Estimate was given, work was done and paid for. Not long afterwards, I noticed the installers didn't repair one post. This was an obvious oversight on installers part and not a big deal. I called and explained the situation, emailed another repair request, and this is when things took a turn for the worst. Original Salesman left the company so I was given a new salesman, Oscar. Oscar didn't respond to my calls and when he did finally email me, he tried to put his own spin on work that was originally supposed to be done and I question whether he even had the original work order/estimate. He sent an installer, Jose, to come out and inspect the post that was not repaired. Jose is one of the guys who did the original repair. Jose knew he missed repairing this post. He went on to tell me they no longer carried the railings on the fence, he would have to take down the already repaired post and cement blocks, or he could insert screws into post. He inserted screws and post was sturdy. Jose reassured me it was strong enough for my dog. After the repair, Jose went back to the office and proceeded to tell Oscar we had a third party install the fence he repaired and blamed my dog(?) Oscar sends me an email stating they would not warranty any repairs because this was not their fence. This was a flat out lie and how dare Oscar and Jose make this false accusation. Furthermore, I have the original estimate of work that was to be done and we paid for this repair. So obvious Jose was trying to cover his behind and Oscar was trying to prove himself. As far as customer service is concerned, the young ladies in the office are very helpful and courteous. It's too bad there are two employees that have no integrity and suggest future customers steer clear of doing business with Oscar and Jose.

We had shoreline install some sunroom walls under an existing covered patio. I asked them a couple…read moretimes during the install if it would leak and they assured me it wouldnt. As soon as it rained, water was leaking through the connection between the stucco and the sunroom wall. They said the leaks were because of the existing patio and they couldn't do anything about it . I'll give shoreline this, they tried to help by adding caulking and waterproof painting(not enough), and it helped a little, but I had to add another layer of waterproof paint that encompassed the whole area to really make sure it helped. After a year, the sunroom wall itself (not the stucco) started leaking in a few places. I had to caulk the leaks and still am having issues today. I would give them 2 stars for at least attempting to help, but the amount of stress I had over this made me give them 1 star. I wish they had considered all possibilities before even installing the sunroom walls. I would not use them for sunroom installation.

It took them a few months to come out and repair so by then the rains were gone for the year. The following year (2025) after the first rain, we had the same leak in the same place. Again, took a few months for them to come fix it but they did. The next rain we got at the end of 2025 that same leak appeared. Now they won't make it right because it is after the 1 yr warranty even though they never fixed the original leak.

Alum Works and another vendor provided similar pricing but Alum Works offered more creative ideas and ultimately helped me save money. Naz, who prepared the quote, came out twice to review the project. Ish later returned to take final measurements, and the installation crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work professionally. Naz also coordinated with their roller shades partner, Daryl, to help me add roller shades to the patio cover. There were a few minor issues along the way, and my louvers needed adjustments on two separate occasions. Each time, Alum Works was responsive and never hesitated to send someone out. Alex, Ish and even Drew personally came by to make sure everything was adjusted properly and that I was satisfied with the final results. I highly recommend Alum Works to friends and family for their patio cover needs. Their customer service, responsiveness, and commitment to getting the job done right made the entire experience a positive one.

One of the quotes was crazy low leaving me questioning the quality. The next quote was on the very high end with an overly sales-y presentation. The last quote was from Eyal at Alum Works. The quote was right in the middle but they were the only company that offered to do a louvered patio for me which was what we really wanted. In the end, it ended up costing more but it gave us our dream patio and we are ecstatic with the results. My patio supplies arrived in roughly a week and was installed in just one day by Ish and team. Jenny was so incredibly flexible with installment payments.
