We ended up deciding on the JCC based on what we heard from others as well as the tour there, and are so happy that we did. My son's teachers keep us updated via the HiMama app throughout the day and are so caring and responsive to any questions or concerns. There are numerous outdoor play areas and the facility is very clean and organized. They have an excellent covid policy in place as well, which keeps the children and staff as safe as possible. We are also JCC fitness center members and enjoy the facilities, and we plan to look into the offered work out classes as well!

When exploring it was very difficult to navigate as there was little to no signage for the trails. We explored around back as the lodge was closed. All of the animals were relocated elsewhere, which I prefer personally seemed very small of an establishment to maintain any animal life. There is a short walk to the back field and there is an awesome 6-story treehouse that you can go in and climb around. We explored for a bit and went on our way. When we've been here there has typically only been one person working, but it's never been a big deal because all the staff does is prepare the cheese tasting and then there is seating outside and upstairs. But Jana, Andy, and the other CFV coaches met me exactly where I was at fitness- and knowledge-wise to help me feel comfortable and welcome from the start. After struggling for years to stick with any consistent workout routine, at CFV, I've finally found something that's approachable, effective, and lots of fun. I truly look forward to every class. A little more on details: The class sizes are small, which means that everyone gets plenty of personalized coaching throughout the workout, and that no one is a stranger. The coaches are great about correcting for form and taking time to ensure folks are moving correctly to avoid injury. The workouts themselves are different every day, which keeps things interesting, but they're also all easily customizable depending on ability level, physical limitations, etc. The community at CFV is fantastic: all skill levels, all ages, all walks of life. The space itself is bright, cheerful, and clean, and the equipment is all nice and new (they just opened in September 2021). Jana and Andy are constantly making additions and improvements to the space to make it even better. I'm looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with CFV.

We had a fence installed by metro for about $5000. We were happy at the time, and the warranty (I…read morebelieve 24 years) was one of the big deciding factors in using them. The owner told us if we ever had a problem, they'd come out and repair it, replace any board etc. He also let us know that over time we should expect the gate latch to need adjustment, as gravity and the weight of the fence would cause it to sag. He said to just give a call and they'd come out and fix the gates. Fast forward 5-6 years, and indeed our gate was not latching well, and our dog went missing to explore the neighborhood a few times. I called Metro and 2 guys came out to look at it, and bluntly told me that it really wasn't their problem, as the company is under new management and/or ownership. As far as I'm concerned, when you buy a company, you buy their warranties and should honor them. Apparently not with Metro. It would have been a 10-15 minute repair for them, but they told me how easily I could do it myself, and went on their way. I did finally repair both gates myself, probably not as well as they would have, but I'm left with a terrible opinion of the company. The original owner was quite professional and customer service oriented, but unfortunately the company has been sold and the 'good will' came with the name Metro is no longer there. Steer clear.
