It's been years since I've seen a dentist. Finally I made myself take a chance, after recently chipping a front tooth. After much research, I found Dr. Huffaker. He and his staff were exceptional! (even though I had a picture of a panoramic taken a week earlier) They gave me an estimate for thousands more than my other estimates. They then billed my insurance for a check-up and x-rays that my insurance paid, and then billed me personally an additional fee for the panoramic. All the other estimates from other dentists were free. It seems like they only care about the money.

I work 12.5 hr night shifts at the hospital and am not always able to call and schedule appointments during regular workday hours. Hence, the online request. I told them my issues and troubles with my teeth, including how hard it is for me to actually see a dentist mostly because of the embarrassing condition they are in (which obviously means I need a lot of work done). Were assumptions made based upon the condition of my teeth? Am I not the kind of patient they want or think I am? This is a sensitive issue for me and reaching out was difficult. I get being too busty to get back to people, but I also get what a new paying client means to a business..I can't help but feel quite slighted or perhaps not needed or wanted as a new patient. On my first visit, I asked him about the practice of our last dentist to regularly add/replace crowns on my teeth every 5 years. He responded with something that stuck with me ever since. He said that he will do everything in his power to save the original tooth, before suggesting a crown. I was sold. We have been visiting Dr. Gray annually for the past 15 years, and he has always taken good care of us. Even during periods of time when we didn't have dental insurance, he would give us a fair price knowing we were paying out of pocket. The crown went in perfectly, and then I told him that I had a slight problem on the left side down by my wisdom tooth and it chipped off. Instead of costing me a lot of money he said let's see if we can fill this. And he was able to fill that chipped portion with a substance that is so strong looks exactly like my tooth. Amazing what they have today. When everything was all done he asked me how my bite was and I said it is perfect. It feels great so he polished everything up and I was out of there. not all dentist are equal, I am so happy I found Dr. Affleck and he is not only a perfectionist, but he is a specialist and a thank you also for the ladies in the office appreciate y'all
