Then today my wife goes in for cleaning only and at the end of the cleaning they tell her she owes $100 co pay. What a rip off FOR CLEANIING? This place is a rip off do not go there! He is a master with all aspects of dentistry from manually extracting a tooth to using power tools to artfully shape a tooth to accept a crown. His skill set is far more advanced than the typical drill and fill dentist. The equipment that he uses from imaging to scanning to make crowns and implants is state of the art. He is proactive in preserving the natural teeth for years to come, which is important to me as a 70 year old patient. The office experience at Velux Dental where Dr. Allred works is great in keeping the patient informed on how much the treatments will be covered by insurance and how much the patient is responsible to pay for that visit. The wait time is also minimal. In addition, Velux Dental has an inhouse Dental Laboratory that makes making a crown or implant a very quick turnaround. I highly recommend Dr. Palmer and Velux Dental for quality and pain free dental work.

Something went wrong with prepping it for the crown which caused a lot of pain. Dr. Cox recommended that he do a root canal which he did. Something went wrong with that too and left me in continuous pain for 9 months until it had to be pulled out. An oral surgeon that extracted the tooth said that Dr. Cox likely missed one of the roots. Dr. Cox wouldn't admit to any errors or cover any the cost for the implant or even discount his bill. He did offer a 30% discount if we allowed him to do the implant work. At that point he had lost my trust and confidence. I won't be going back and can't recommend him to anyone.
