I got the filling scheduled and got it done just to be surprised with his own inflated fees rather than my insurance fees which he refused to accept. The reason? It was a filling that wasn't due for replacement yet. Amy, the awful billing lady yelled and argued with me over the phone that it's not their job to check if the tooth had been worked on in the past by another office. These people are lazy as sh*t and will NOT check any sort of tooth history just to trap you into paying their blown up fees. Watchout, this is a strategy of theirs! All other offices I've been to will not hesitate to call your insurance to gather pertinent information about the tooth that needs work. The filling, by the way, was no good. As you can see from the other reviewers, Dan Mirci absolutely sucks at performing fillings. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office and the awful billing lady! The rest of the ladies there were nice but Amy the biller is a total b*tch. One was a tooth that he tried to pull and I felt like he was going to break my jaw. I finally pulled his hands out of my mouth and told him to send me to an oral surgeon. He had a son who died, and I had a brother who died. He told me flat out that my pain could not be as bad as his pain. He has no idea how close I was to my brother. The third incident was. I had to have a partial adjusted. It fit my mouth perfectly before coming into the office. I had to leave the partial overnight. The next day I told him it didn't fit my mouth at all, and he accused me of dropping it, and stepping on it, which I think he did while he was in his care. I do not recommend this Dentist

The dentist agreed and looked at the tooth (simple filling) but then decided that she didn't have time. The office was pretty empty, and I didn't see any other patients, but I didn't argue the fact and went to the desk to see if there was a bill. Front desk told me there was no charge, and dentist told me that she would not charge for a five minute look at her tooth. I just received a bill, with a threatening note telling me that the bill is going to be sent to collections?! What bill? I did not receive any bill until two days ago, called the office and they told me that the office person no longer works there so I have to pay a bill and they are sure they sent me prior bills, which they did not. The lady was not very kind, insisting she sent a bill I never received. Now I have to drop everything and run back into the office to pay a bill I was told I didn't have, the same bill I tried to pay months ago. I asked for a couple of weeks to come in and she said no. This places openly lies to its patients and wants to send me to collections over a bill I was told I didn't have and already offered to pay months ago. Dishonest!!

The first person to have done my cleaning without making my mouth ache for almost 24 hours. I was sold on him and I'm still going to him...not to age either of us, but I think it's about 40 years!!! I adore both Dr. Aoki and Kerry, they are so awesome and seem to like catching up on my life because I keep them very entertained and laughing, coming and going!!! They can't retire until I'm cremated, my final shot at having a smoking hot body!!!

Oh my goodness I did one of the stupidest things I ever did in my life, but Dr. Paul Huffaker and…read morehis dental assistant Anna, saved me lol! I was opening a new small bottle of Loctite water resistant super glue gel with my teeth and didn't know that a whole glob was going to come out into my mouth! It was pretty much the whole bottle. I have no idea how that happened since I was so careful not to squeeze it. It was horrifying! I scraped as much off my tongue as I could but it hardened pretty quickly as I called Poison Contol. They reassured me that when it was dry it would not be toxic to me. It was like I had cement all over my upper and lower teeth on the front and right side of my mouth, and on the roof of my mouth. I couldn't get it off! It wouldn't budge no matter how hard I tried. So the next day I went to Dr. Huffaker's office. Everyone there is so nice! As he got started getting it off my teeth he was very reassuring and said that he could get the superglue off my teeth. He was kind and talked to me as he worked. Some of what he told me were some of the uses of super glue. Very interesting! It helped me not hate super glue forever lol. He worked at it for quite awhile and did some major work! And then Anna came in and did the fine-tuning with some fine instruments and the polisher. It took quite some time to get it all off! She kept asking me if I could feel anymore and I'd keep saying yes there's more here or there. There was so much! It got in every little tiny crack and crevice in my teeth. She was so patient and detailed and cared to get every little bit of it off. My tongue was raw from having that cement-like/sandpaper feeling in my mouth for almost 24 hours. It was such a relief to have her get all those MANY areas taken care of. My teeth feel amazing now and my tongue is already feeling better next day too. You guys saved me! Thank you so much!

My second visit had to be rescheduled because I was sick and could hardly function. I was also about to leave for a trip and was afraid he wouldn't be able to reschedule before I left, but he got me in 3 days later (the day before I left for my trip) He managed to save a tooth that most likely would have been an expensive crown at most other places. He doesn't push to have unnecessary work done and he'll work with you to figure out the cheapest, best option for treatment. He also does payment plans. Highly recommend!

This morning I had the chance to get my semi-annual cleaning done at the Blackhurst office. I love…read morethe feeling of such clean teeth when leaving a teeth cleaning, but really don't like going to the dentist. I have been going here for over 10 years for my dental work and have never had problem. The staff has always been kind, helpful, and fun. Dr. Blackhurst is fun to talk to and explains what is going on with cavities, etc. so you understand what he is suggesting. The billing ladies have been great when there are problems with insurance, etc. Overall, I'm really happy here and think everyone should check him out.

I found this Dentist on the internet. While heading to my appt, I cried all the way there, can you believe it. Stepping into Dr Blackhurst's office. Shauna greeted us and thanked us for coming. What a sweet adorable young lady who explained how Dr Blackhurst works and his specialties, and Shauna added "no worries from this point on". His other staff walked me back to THE DENTISTS CHAIR. After I was made comfortable, in walks Dr Blackhurst. He shook my hand and then my husbands. Dr Blackhurst asked me minimal questions. Then the Dr asked if he could take a look. I froze. Dr Blackhurst quickly thawed me. This is when everything changed for me. No more Dental fright at all. Dr Blackhurst had me laughing an then HE TOOK OUT MY LOWER DENTURE and you know what, I didn't need a second thaw at all. And he threw way his thawer saying he never ,had a need to use them! The Dr continued his assessment which took very little time. I wanted to say thankyou to this adorable,very personable, caring and please may I add cute Dr Blackhurst, who had the most awesome chairside manner. There was one draw back and that was I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE! As I learned more about Dr Blackhurst, not only is the Dr a dentist, he is a specialist in many many fields.
