In the past five years her dental health had gotten so bad that I was seriously thinking of setting up an implant/denture fund along with her college savings. Her pediatric dentist kept pushing the fluoride and reminding us that this is just how things are for people who deal with this autoimmune condition. Dr. Larsen is amazing! The first thing you'll notice is the kindness of him and his staff. He is seriously so patient. My daughter has an abnormally low pain threshold and can express it in ways that can be difficult to deal with. Dr. Larsen treated her with kindness and respect. He stopped often to make sure she was comfortable. Dr. Larsen also has done some serious research beyond any dentist we've been to. He offered up different toothpastes, supplements and treatments (ozone therapy, seriously cool!) we could try along with helpful things my daughter should be eating to improve her oral health. It's great to have a dentist who sees health beyond just good oral hygiene. He always seems to have new ideas to share and doesn't give up. The staff is great too. We are always treated well and never wait for long. The hygienists do a wonderful job getting our mouths clean and sparkly. They are patient and kind as well. The office staff keep us notified, organized, and bill us the correct or very close to the correct amount each time, never more than $5 after insurance in our experience. It's nice to not get a $100 surprise bill!

I've been blessed with very good insurance, so I can't speak to his prices (according to other reviews), but it's always been doable for us, including elective items like teeth whitening. He filled a tooth for me, and a few days later I accidentally bit down really hard. I suspect it loosened it, and my tooth became rather sensitive. Dr. MacKay was able to fit me in the same week and he replaced it for free. Dr. MacKay is also fantastic with kids!! I don't want to ever take my kids to another dentist.

I have been dealing with their billing for claims OVER a year ago that are still not resolved. they do not know how to bill properly, their billing department is a JOKE. They are trying to bill me for more than the agreed contracted rate by my insurance aka "patient responsibility. " (this is illegal). After 100s of calls between the insurance and them to help them do their job, I am so stressed by getting weekly notifications saying we owe over 2 thousand $. they were trying to bill us for things that the insurance already paid for as well. I had to send them all these EOBs to show them the check #s that they cashed in order to clear up some of the bills. We also have a secondary insurance and they have failed to bill the secondary insurance and just continue to send us bills hoping we will pay for it. After a year I got the 'bill' down to $1500, but they are still not billing the secondary for the remaining, and billing for things the insurance already paid for. Long story short, office and doctor great insurance billing sucks. If you plan on using insurance save yourself the headache and DO NOT COME HERE! I will never return to this dentist again unless they switch billing companies, which is disappointing, because I really did like the dentist.

I've suffered from migraines, clench my jaw, and grind my teeth which causes me extreme pain. My mom has the same condition. I had been complaining to her about how much pain I was in when she let me know about Dr. Davis and a Botox procedure he performed on her. I had know that Botox helped with these symptoms but was honestly too fearful to try it out for myself. I didn't know a doctor I trusted where I live, I had never had Botox before, but I was at my wits end. I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Davis and was THRILLED with the results! As I mentioned, I had never had Botox so I had a LOT of questions. I walked in nervous, sweating, and shaking. I have a fear of needles and a fear of the unknown. His staff, seeing how nervous I was, immediately started to put my fears at ease, explaining the procedure, their own experiences, and I started to calm down. Move to the exam room. Hands still sweating, heart racing, and a man with a bright smile comes in... welcome, Dr. Davis. He answered EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I had about Botox, the procedure, and what my results would look like. He took the time to explain how Botox worked with my muscles and nerves, putting my mind at ease. He checked to make sure every area he was assessing was the accurate place for injections, talked me through the entire procedure, and it was over in mere moments. Fast forward to the following few months... I have been happily pain free. I no longer have to take an excessive amount of medicine for my headaches and jaw pain. I have more movement in my neck and head. It was honestly a miracle to have found a skilled professional who was able to rid me of my pain! So much so that as I type this, I am just one day out from my second treatment (5 months later) and could not be happier with my results. Bottom line: migraines and jaw pain are terrible... and Botox works! I admit it, I was skeptical....very skeptical, but Dr. Davis explained the science and physical responses to me and that made me feel so much better. Feeling the actual results has been such a gift for me. Waking up pain-free has been so wonderful for quality of life. I work 12.5 hr night shifts at the hospital and am not always able to call and schedule appointments during regular workday hours. Hence, the online request. I told them my issues and troubles with my teeth, including how hard it is for me to actually see a dentist mostly because of the embarrassing condition they are in (which obviously means I need a lot of work done). Were assumptions made based upon the condition of my teeth? Am I not the kind of patient they want or think I am? This is a sensitive issue for me and reaching out was difficult. I get being too busty to get back to people, but I also get what a new paying client means to a business..I can't help but feel quite slighted or perhaps not needed or wanted as a new patient.
