I've suffered from migraines, clench my jaw, and grind my teeth which causes me extreme pain. My mom has the same condition. I had been complaining to her about how much pain I was in when she let me know about Dr. Davis and a Botox procedure he performed on her. I had know that Botox helped with these symptoms but was honestly too fearful to try it out for myself. I didn't know a doctor I trusted where I live, I had never had Botox before, but I was at my wits end. I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Davis and was THRILLED with the results! As I mentioned, I had never had Botox so I had a LOT of questions. I walked in nervous, sweating, and shaking. I have a fear of needles and a fear of the unknown. His staff, seeing how nervous I was, immediately started to put my fears at ease, explaining the procedure, their own experiences, and I started to calm down. Move to the exam room. Hands still sweating, heart racing, and a man with a bright smile comes in... welcome, Dr. Davis. He answered EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I had about Botox, the procedure, and what my results would look like. He took the time to explain how Botox worked with my muscles and nerves, putting my mind at ease. He checked to make sure every area he was assessing was the accurate place for injections, talked me through the entire procedure, and it was over in mere moments. Fast forward to the following few months... I have been happily pain free. I no longer have to take an excessive amount of medicine for my headaches and jaw pain. I have more movement in my neck and head. It was honestly a miracle to have found a skilled professional who was able to rid me of my pain! So much so that as I type this, I am just one day out from my second treatment (5 months later) and could not be happier with my results. Bottom line: migraines and jaw pain are terrible... and Botox works! I admit it, I was skeptical....very skeptical, but Dr. Davis explained the science and physical responses to me and that made me feel so much better. Feeling the actual results has been such a gift for me. Waking up pain-free has been so wonderful for quality of life. Dr. Davis is very thorough in his work and will only work on what is needed (not say you need something done when you really don't) and do a great job! It seems now days dentistry has changed to more of a business, it's hard to find good quality dentists that care about their quality of work these days. Happy we found this one! I also took my 3 year old daughter and he filled 3 cavities with all smiles! He and his staff were beyond amazing making it such a comfortable and fearless experience for her. The face feels more like an elaborate laboratory where we are all the guinea pigs. They're not real dentists or orthodontists. These are people that will clean your teeth or fill a cavity and put fake braces on your teeth. However, if you have any real issues with your teeth you need to go someplace else and they are happy to make you referrals. They use a brand similar to Invisalign called sure smile. The price that was quoted to me was $3,900 but I believe you can get it done much cheaper at other places.

For starters, it was during the electionand he went off on conspiracy theories and voter fraud when I couldn't respond nor had I even started a political conversation. It was kind of weird and socially inappropriate. On one occasion when I came for my appointment, he was taking a little snooze behind the front desk person. I found that very unprofessional. Why not go into a private office for a rest instead of making us feel worried that you are sleeping on the job in between patients? But I ignored all that because the Groupon was a good deal and I thought I was getting good care. A few years later and I have had multiple dentists x ray and tell me how badly done my implant and my crown are. The crown had an overhang that was causing gum recession. The implant is not in straight, not well seated, and smells like decay by the end of almost every day. I have to floss super well every night or it gets worse. The crown recently came off and there is decay underneath so I'm glad that it came off and I'm having a vetted and trusted, albeit more expensive, dentist redo the crown and do it right this time.

It was a filling that wasn't due for replacement yet. Amy, the awful billing lady yelled and argued with me over the phone that it's not their job to check if the tooth had been worked on in the past by another office. These people are lazy as sh*t and will NOT check any sort of tooth history just to trap you into paying their blown up fees. Watchout, this is a strategy of theirs! All other offices I've been to will not hesitate to call your insurance to gather pertinent information about the tooth that needs work. The filling, by the way, was no good. As you can see from the other reviewers, Dan Mirci absolutely sucks at performing fillings. Save yourself the headache and avoid this office and the awful billing lady! The rest of the ladies there were nice but Amy the biller is a total b*tch. I needed to see a dentist right away, and Merci Dental absolutely came through for me. They were able to get me in the same day. I let them know I was flexible and would take whatever opening they had, and I was so grateful they squeezed me in. The dentist quickly evaluated me and said I needed a root canal. Because of the complexity, they felt it would be best for me to see an endodontist. What impressed me was how the Merci Dental team handled it -- they didn't just send me away with a referral. The dentist had the front desk call three highly recommended endodontists immediately to see who could take me. Within minutes, they had me set up with an appointment, and I was able to drive straight over and be seen that same day. The next day, I came back to Merci Dental to be fitted for a crown, and two weeks later I now have my permanent crown in place. Everything feels great and the quality of work has been excellent. The entire staff was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Since everything was happening quickly, they made sure to explain each step clearly and confirm that I understood what was being done. The front desk deserves special thanks -- they moved fast, coordinated seamlessly, and kept billing accurate in real time even as the treatment plan changed. That kind of attention to detail made a stressful experience so much easier. I spend a lot of time in Salt Lake City, and Merci Dental is now my go-to dentist. Asking dr warr to make sure my crown was on the whiter side, only to have him say it was a perfect match, and my family all asked why it was darker than the teeth on each side. Going in to have a filling, I was introduced to a new dentist in their office without even letting me know or asking if I was ok with someone other than dr warr. The number of texts and email reminders is pretty rude when I have asked them to not send reminders. The dentist is painless, at least that's my experience. I've been going there for some 20 years. I recommend it to anybody. I just had a cap installed on a titanium post today and it went so well. No adjustments necessary like I've had to deal with in the past with other dentists. It all went so quickly. Overhead TVs, if you get bored. Wi-Fi. All of the modern equipment is being used.
