After years of home improvements, it was finally time for us to move outside and have our yard…read moredone. Our yard was in a sad state with drainage issues, high spots throughout, and mostly consisted of sand and weeds. We called Austin at Grandscapes because he did a great job on our neighbor's yard. After getting several quotes we decided to go with Grandscapes because they gave us the best price and we knew their work. They spent the better part of a week tearing out old beds, removing old grass/weeds, grading the lawn, laying sod, and putting out mulch. Austin even did a few small things we added in at the last minute. These guys were incredibly hard workers, personable, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and my yard is finally something to be proud of. Since I have had a lot of experience with workers in our home improvement endeavors I feel like I can say without a doubt this is one of the best companies I have worked with.

A few weeks ago, we selected Live Aloha to remove and install three trees on our investment…read moreproperty in St. Augustine. We are disappointed how things turned out. While the trees appear to still be alive and doing satisfactorily, an aspect of the installation did not go as planned. After they work was done, Live Aloha was tasked to make sure that the automatic sprinkler system was properly set. This appears to not have happened. Shortly after installation, we began to get complaints from the HOA that the system was watering multiple times a day and far more times per week than allowed by local statute. It seems that the neighbors were complaining to the HOA about this. We sent our property manager to the location and she confirmed the complaints and the situation with the HOA. Without altering the settings, our property manager was instructed to turn off the system which she did. We then hired an irrigation company to assess the situation without telling them of any prior work. Independently they confirmed that the system had been set improperly both in number of days per week and times per day. We then contacted the neighbors and HOA ourselves and heard multiple reports confirming the situation, indeed, the system had been running far more than needed, so much so that the bill went from about $49 the prior month to approximately $1285! We approached Live Aloha only to be told that they had set the system properly and it must be something else. So far our property manager, the independent contractor and the neighbors' observations contradict that. We have retained a local attorney who is drafting our small claims complaint and is advising us. We encourage Live Aloha to review its response to us. Merced Conference Center

The owner showed up promptly for the estimate appointment and provided a comprehensive quote on the work and what it would require. They were flexible with the timeframe for the work and the quote was reasonable for the type of work provided. The crew was very professional and ensured no damage to our fence or home during the trimming. All debris was cleaned up from my yard and stacked appropriately for the lawn/garbage crew to take it away. Very small debris was even cleaned up from my neighbor's yard although that was only a small amount as the crew was very diligent in trimming the tree. I highly recommend this company for any type of landscaping or tree work you need done. Truly, it is hard to find a company who responds immediately, shows up at the scheduled time and does a complete job!
