They not only did a great install but they gave us what we feel like was a fair price. In addition they gave us a date, showed up on time and the whole crew was very nice & respectful. Super easy to work with and if we have any more paver work done.,.we will definitely be calling Tim & Robin at Coastal.

When I contacted Coastal PaverScapes to inquire about a brick project we needed done at our home,…read moreI spoke with Robin. She was very helpful and responsive in getting Tim to come out to the house to discuss our project. Our project was a bit unique in that we needed bricks removed from our driveway and new restraining edges created around newly opened area where gravel would be installed. Tim was very accommodating to help us with our project and quoted a very reasonable price. Robin always kept things organized from getting the work scheduled through completion. Tim did exactly what he said he would do and did it when he said he would. That's a valuable trait in business these days. The outcome far exceeded our expectations. Coastal PaverScapes will be our first call for any future work of this nature. Highly recommend!

The projects that they did for me were laying sod in my large back yard by a newly installed pool and filling in a cement edged area with fabric/ rocks around my pool equipment. The workers worked well together and didn't waste any time. They cleaned up the site leaving no trash or debris behind. The jobs were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Barton's Turf Management to do any project large or small around your home. Give Colin Barton a call. He is quick in response and a great communicator. Thanks so much.

After years of home improvements, it was finally time for us to move outside and have our yard…read moredone. Our yard was in a sad state with drainage issues, high spots throughout, and mostly consisted of sand and weeds. We called Austin at Grandscapes because he did a great job on our neighbor's yard. After getting several quotes we decided to go with Grandscapes because they gave us the best price and we knew their work. They spent the better part of a week tearing out old beds, removing old grass/weeds, grading the lawn, laying sod, and putting out mulch. Austin even did a few small things we added in at the last minute. These guys were incredibly hard workers, personable, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and my yard is finally something to be proud of. Since I have had a lot of experience with workers in our home improvement endeavors I feel like I can say without a doubt this is one of the best companies I have worked with.

After three years in our new house we could no longer tolerate the concrete driveway and walkway…read morethat were riddled with cracks and stains. It was time for pavers. We met with and got estimates from three contractors. All had installed pavers for neighbors and all had received high marks. We chose Justin Canova of Moderna Pavers because he was direct, professional, and fairly priced. He inspired confidence. From start to finish throughout the project, Justin was a pleasure to work with. He is helpful and 100% reliable, something that cannot often be said of contractors. The pavers were delivered on time, in the right color and quantity. His crew installed them perfectly and in record time. What's more, they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Justin delivers an outstanding experience and product.

I noticed some sunken spots in the driveway and called Moderna a week ago to see about repairs. An answering service picked up during regular business hours and I left a message for them to call me. No one bothered to call back. I'm disappointed in the fact that the driveway has sunk in spots and more so that the company couldn't even return the call. Follow up is just as important as the main job at least to me it is. I have another company coming out to give me a repair estimate. Update: I am upgrading my review as the issue was a communication issue through a third party. Justin was willing to come out and do the repair with no hesitation. Just about every contractor out there is backed up with projects due to COVID and Moderna was no different so to leave the poor review was not appropriate since it was a poor communication issue.

A few weeks ago, we selected Live Aloha to remove and install three trees on our investment…read moreproperty in St. Augustine. We are disappointed how things turned out. While the trees appear to still be alive and doing satisfactorily, an aspect of the installation did not go as planned. After they work was done, Live Aloha was tasked to make sure that the automatic sprinkler system was properly set. This appears to not have happened. Shortly after installation, we began to get complaints from the HOA that the system was watering multiple times a day and far more times per week than allowed by local statute. It seems that the neighbors were complaining to the HOA about this. We sent our property manager to the location and she confirmed the complaints and the situation with the HOA. Without altering the settings, our property manager was instructed to turn off the system which she did. We then hired an irrigation company to assess the situation without telling them of any prior work. Independently they confirmed that the system had been set improperly both in number of days per week and times per day. We then contacted the neighbors and HOA ourselves and heard multiple reports confirming the situation, indeed, the system had been running far more than needed, so much so that the bill went from about $49 the prior month to approximately $1285! We approached Live Aloha only to be told that they had set the system properly and it must be something else. So far our property manager, the independent contractor and the neighbors' observations contradict that. We have retained a local attorney who is drafting our small claims complaint and is advising us. We encourage Live Aloha to review its response to us. Merced Conference Center
