My dad was diagnosed with Dementia about 2 years old. At that time, so many worries and concerns…read morewere in my head. We knew we weren't ready to talk about transitioning his care; however, I reached out to Wellpath Partners for information. Charles was so kind to explain their services and promised to check-in with us in 3 months. There was no pressure or need to commit right away to their services. Charles and Leila checked in with us along the way. Never pushing for more information. Just "when you're ready, we are here". Last month, I reached out to Leila as our family was experiencing stress and increased difficulties caring for my dad at home by ourselves. We talked about options. We discussed financial and cultural concerns. My dad is Filipino, doesn't speak English well, and very particular with his care. Leila was able to help us find a Filipino-owned board and care that was close to home and within our price range. She helped settle my fears and worries. In the stress of needing to transition my dad quickly, she made it seem less challenging, listened to my concerns, and reassured me that I was not on this journey alone. I don't think I would have found a great place on my own. My dad has transitioned well. He tells people its quiet and the people are nice. When we visit, there is no stress or guilt. He smiles and is happy talking to the people there. Thank you to Charles, Leila, and the whole Wellpath Partners team! My family appreciates the family care you give your customers. We are so happy to share our story with our own family and friends who may be looking for support for their aging parents.

A little background. My mother's condition has been…read moredeteriorating both physically and mentally over the last 14 months. She's gone from hospital to nursing home, back to hospital, back to nursing home and then finally to an assisted living down in Vista. It was a very nice facility very clean, and pretty accommodating but I guess my mother is not the easiest person to deal with on a daily basis. So not long after her stay began we started getting phone calls that your mother's doing this, she's doing that and that her care level is going to go up as well as our fees.Within 3 months our cost had nearly doubled due to us being nickel and dimed for every little thing. So we decided a change was necessary and we also wanted to get her closer to other family members closer to Long Beach / Los Angeles. We did have another option of a board and Care place down in Oceanside but the trips to visit meant an entire day was taken up just by the travel back and forth. We decided to take a shot and we checked out Vista del Mar. I'm thinking we made the right decision. Though it took a while for my mother to accept the move to a different style place with a little looser atmosphere and kind of less stuffy attitude. From the people we first dealt with mainly Jessica and Rebecca down to the caregivers, housekeepers and maintenance, everything that is ever brought to their attention is promptly dealt with. I'm not saying there's too many things to deal with just saying that I think I am there more than a lot of visitors and from what I see everyone is pretty much on top of things over there. As I said before my mother is not an easy person to deal with but they seem to think she's a pleasure Anyhow since she has been there she now is able to fit into her slippers and shoes which she was unable to do at the prior facility due to her feet and ankles being excessively swollen and she wasn't very Mobile on her own at that point. Now there's times I show up and she walks around her room and she even walks herself to the dining area and she's wearing her shoes because obviously her medications are being given to her on a timely basis like I'm assuming maybe they were not before at the other facility. I'm very grateful for the care that she has receiving here and I really don't have anything negative to say about the place. Add in the fact that the aforementioned people Jessica and Rebecca and some others have volunteered assistance in possibly getting us to a more affordable level through programs because even though their rates are better than most it's still difficult for us people that are on a certain budget. That just added to the attraction of trying this place out and I'm glad that we did. It also doesn't hurt that my dog and best friend Conrad has become like a mascot of the place and spends every visit visiting with a lot of the other residents every time we are out there. All in all I don't even feel like I'm going to a facility when I show up over there it's just more like somewhere where my mother lives.

We have used CHC twice. Once for my father as he was dying from cancer 10 years ago. And then…read moreagain for my mother after being discharged from the hospital after a fall last year. With my mom being 80 during the time of Covid, we were concerned about folks coming in that could easily be exposed to others. Due to Mom's failing memory, we had security cameras setup and could easily & regularly monitor her and her caregivers. We could verify that they wore masks, gloves, and practiced good handwashing practices. We were so grateful to have the same 3 caregivers on rotation, especially with Mom's increasing dementia. They always made sure to help her to restroom, especially before leaving their shift. As parking could be a challenge in the evenings since she lived in an apartment, the evening caregiver would go out of her way to show up early to make sure that parking wouldn't causer her to be late. That's care! They would patiently listen to her tell the same stories over and over and constantly engage her. We just couldn't be happier with the care and professionalism of the CHC team and would definitely use them again.

My partner had surgery in 2026. He needed home health care right away but it was nearly two months…read morebefore Cambrian arranged to send a helper. By that time he was up and about so there wasn't a lot to do. He was asked to clean the toilet and used a roll of toilet paper instead of a sponge. He was pleasant enough but his cleaning skills were deficient. When he tried to discuss this with Cambrian, he was put on hold for over 30 minutes and after leaving a message no one called him back. This is rock bottom home health care... Don't trust your loved one to them.
