A worker approached me, observed the fresh scars on my knees and said, "Wow! You had them both done at once!" Yes, I had recently had bilateral total knee replacement. The woman then told me about her husband, who had one knee replaced a few months prior. She launched into a long explanation about the physical therapy facility he had gone to, and what wonders they were able to accomplish with his movement, and even with the appearance of his scar. That facility was North Naples Physical Therapy. I told her I was very familiar with NNPT, since my post-surgery treatment was actually my second round of treatment there, having done my pre-surgery PT there as well. The wonderful thing about NNPT is that it is a small-ish facility with 5 staff members. You learn everyone's name, and they learn yours. They are always professional and friendly. But mostly they are skilled physical therapists who encourage you and help you to do as much as you can to improve your physical condition. In my visits, I have seen them work on hips, knees, shoulders, ankles, and elbows. Each round of exercise is concluded with massage, electrical stimulation, and ice on the affected joint. It's my favorite part of the whole visit. I recommended them unconditionally.

Their associate, podiatrist Eugene Batelli, performed two surgeries on me, left foot fusion and right ankle replacement. Both FAILED significantly so much so that I found need to be treated by an ORTHOPEDIC surgeon who has discovered broken metal and screws in my left foot and a fallen arch and my right foot ankle with a replacement dislodged along with severe damage to the supporting tendon. I have had corrective surgery on one foot. My point is: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PODIATRIST WHO PERFORMS SURGERY (DPM) AND AN ORTHOPERIC SURGEON who is an MD. Location? Veterans Park. My PT providers are Larry and Amy, both exceptional in their field and genuinely nice human beings. Special props go to Amy, she is a total rock-star. If you need deep tissue and trigger point massage she is out of this world. Jen at the front desk does an outstanding job and will go out of her way to assist, she's awesome. Not to gush but everyone has been just super, they have a great crew. As for what this facility has to offer? Having a PT/PM clinic that does in-house procedures can be a financial lifesaver. Steering clear of NCH and it's price gouging is huge for me and I carry awesome insurance so that should say something. I would be so screwed co-pay wise if I had to use NCH or Lee M. outpatient facilities, for this am am VERY grateful. As for procedures, pills, PT, whatever, being forced on me? Nothing like that has happened. Anyone that has ever dealt with PM in the past should be able to relate to this, there used to be pill mills now they have injection mills. I was actually shocked that my first "injection" procedure turned out to be diagnostic. I had assumed they would just go straight to steroid injections, most clinics nowadays do as this is where the money is. That was huge for me and makes me respect them and trust them. Add to this that the injections are done with a fluoroscope instead of blindly speaks volumes as well, I can't understate the importance of this, it's massive. So yeah, I like this place.

The guys are courteous and experienced, but expensive ($360 an hour). My right shoulder and arm did…read morenot have full movement , i probably had 65% degree of movement, due to a fall. After my first hour of therapy with them it was sore but they freed it up a bit. The doctor then stated he thinks i should be seen 5 times a week for the next 6 weeks for a package deal totaling over $9000. Seemed super excessive. And my 60 minute visit turned out to be 50 minute. They started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. After my first visit and doing some home pt and laps in the pool, i felt 90% the next day. I think its a crime when they try and sell you $9000 worth of sessions when you may just need 1 or 2 or 5. I was not in a car accident with multiple injuries. On top of this they do not take credit cards. Nor do they do the electro therapy or even finish with a hot heat pad. On top of this, the therapist hadn't used or was in need of deodorant which made the 1 hour session difficult. They put earning the almighty dollar first. This is a huge lack of integrity and is becoming more common place. I do not recommend them

The care and empathy offered to me was on another level.
