One to install a 75" TV on a mount and hiding the wires behind the wall and to mount my 2 Sonos speakers in corners of our house. He came back a few days later to install a Sonos sound bar. Here's an example how he's good and thinks out of the box. I bought the suggested Sonos sound bar mount but he suggested using his since the sound bar can move with the TV once we swivel it. If he used the Sonos mount, it was stay on the wall. He also suggested using the supplied HDMI cord Sonos supplied versus the 3rd party I got from Amazon. They are a third party. We recently purchased our home. He said that our real estate company paid for the installation and the equipment. Our realtor had no idea about this deal, when we later asked them about it. He got us on the hook for a 36-month contract and was rushing to get a technician out to do the install the same day. After looking at the contract and seeing some inconsistencies that set off red flags, as well as poor online reviews, we decided to cancel. The number listed on the contract to cancel sent us to ADT and they couldn't help us. We got back in contact with the dealer and were able to cancel, but they did not send the cancellation in writing (another red flag). Overall, it was a shady experience and we are glad we cancelled before we owed a ton of money. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME.

I live in a single family home. I am 82 year old and handicapped. After my husband's passing I had Sheppard Security install a camera near my front door as I was getting groceries delivered but they would not always ring my doorbell as I instructed in my delivery instructions. Also, sometimes I had strangers come to my house. Last Sunday at 6:30 P.M. I had two men come to my door but I did not recognize them so I did not answer my door. They started walking back and forth and keep ringing my doorbell. Then they went to my hose in front of my master bedroom window and turn it on. At that point I called 911. I spoke to an officer and told him of my situation and he said he would send an Officer to my home. Meanwhile one man stayed in front of my home and I lost sight of the other man. They had a SUV parked in front of my home with both passenger doors open and the hatch open. They were here for at least 20 minutes and I asked the officer on the phone at 911 when somebody was going to help me. He then told me that nobody could come because they were taking care of more serious problems then mine. Those two men were here at least 40 minutes. They finally left. On Monday I called Sheppard Security and talked to Joe their IT man. I told Joe I would like to have 4 more cameras installed around my home. On Sunday I was really scared because I could not tell where the second man was during the time they were here. I spoke to Jim the owner of Sheppard Security on Wednesday and he told me that the Cameras had been ordered and that he would make sure that the Cameras would be installed quickly. Friday morning Joe and another technician came and up dated my old camera and installed 4 new Cameras. They worked quickly and made sure that all five cameras were wired in and adjusted them so that I can see the 4 sides of my home. They also made sure that everything was clean after installing all of the new wiring. They were here for several hours. If I could I would give Sheppard Security, Jim the owner and Joe and the other Technician 20 stars. In this day and age it is nice to find a Company and their staff who takes pride in their workmanship and treats their customers with respect. They make you feel they have your back and that you are important to them. I think you can only get this kind of service from a family owned company.

Tot was to install road gates in the front an back of our community. It was an over complicated system relying on cell phone Bluetooth to activate the gates. First tot discovered not all Bluetooth phones would work. Also kids waiting for school bus were triggering the gates unintentionally. Then tot SOLD a work around RFID decal to the residents because of tot poor engineering. But still it is an unreliable activation. Residents now wish for the old reliable remote push button system. Just recently an emergency vehicle was trying to pass though a gate but it would not open. If you want a gate system that works, go get other bids!
