I had been so excited to get my brows done. Terrible experience from the word go. Customer service was a total fail. Website doesn't work properly which resulted in my appointment I made online not being on their books. Be sure to CALL and make sure they have it. Had to schedule a 2nd time after waiting weeks. Big mess. Finally the day arrives. Told Kylie, the owner, that I wanted soft natural looking brows. I have no outer brows, although I do get some growth and am always working on trying to get natural growth. Long story short, Kylie microbladed my outer third of my brow ABOVE MY NATURAL BROW LINE and brow bone. Now what precious little growth I get I have to shave off. So I still have to try to create my own brows while attempting to conceal what she did. It always shows through. I did email her about this and asked for a refund. Response was basically sorry, but I stand by my work, and it's your fault for not showing me pictures. Well, I looked at all the photos on her website, they all looked good, told her I liked her brows too. I guess I was supposed to monitor every that stroke she did was placed correctly. She is the professional and didn't offer to show ME photos. She worked on me for about 15 minutes and said DONE. Saw them in the mirror without my glasses and it's like when you get rearended by a car. I was like, okay, am I crazy right now? $570 later in my car I just cried. I'm older, and the brows were a few strokes in the brow hair I do have and the outer portion way above where my brow bone. Not flattering at all. Still thin. I've seen so many beautiful full natural looking brows done with many, many hairlike strokes. That's not what I got. BUYER BEWARE. Don't let the beautiful salon atmosphere fool you. If you haven't tried it yet, try SUGARING! I've done sugaring for the past year and I'll never go back to waxing. This is the only place in Lafayette that I've found and I'm so glad I did. I've had several things done here. I really like my eyeliner and lip liner but I didn't like my brows. Lash lift and tint were good.

Terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend. Management is rude. They take themselves a little too seriously. They need to remember they wax brows and vaginas all day not preforming brain surgery. I would spend your money at a salon where it appreciates their customers. read more

I went to Symetrie 5 months ago to have my brows Microbladed so I would not have to darken my light brows. I knew there would be follow ups to continue what I was hoping to be a continuation of my new great brows. I did not have any sparse areas, lacking of hair growth, etc. At first viewing while at the salon upon completion, I saw something was off, but assumed maybe it was me or the lighting. But that day once I got home and after really looking at them, I saw my brows were not aligned and even (symmetrical and balanced). One side drooped down more than the other, esp. along the tail of my brow, also they were very thin rather than my natural brows. My friends, family, and colleagues all pointed out the issues without me even asking. All I asked is to share your thoughts of my new brows. I did call the salon and was told no corrections could be made for at least 12 weeks. I decided not not go back because I feared further displeasure, and today, 5 months later, I still have to correct and fill in where it is not symmetrical and not looking like a thin penciled in brow. Due to this negative experience, I have become a Microblader and vow to never let someone endure what I have. To express how disappointed I still am and the amount I paid esp. being told the gal was really good, words cannot tell. It truly all boils down to how the work done has affected me emotionally, along with being self conscious now about my brows until it eventually fades out. I chose to not mention her name simply for not bashing one individual. It has taken me many months to finally write a post and my experience. What I learned is to find out who they were trained by, that will help in your determination, along with many other aspects. I am in no way saying not to go to this business, there are talented employees, just use your gut feeling and do a lot of research and do all you can to avoid being in a position I am in now. read more
