A very challenging fabric but the work was careful, precise, and complete with no damage to a fabric that misbehaves at the first opportunity. More amazing was the remodel of a skirt from 1939--my great aunt wore it to a wedding that year and I bet it cost a fortune (that would be about $50 in those days). I needed 3" in the waist. Vintage silk and chiffon over-skirt. Layers! No extra fabric and seams in chiffon are the very devil. Perfection! And more than affordable given the delicacy and complexity of the work and the fabrics. I am wearing this to the Worshipful Company of Carpenters livery company dinner at Mansion House in London (host--the Lord Mayor) and I am going to look fabulous. THANK YOU ELVIRA,

But that tailor turned down my job because it was too time consuming; she instead referred me to Alla. I'm so glad she did! Not only is Alla's sewing beautiful, but she is professional and lovely to work with. The work was completed on time for every fitting I had. Her prices are great given the high quality of work, and she is less expensive than tailors on Newbury St. Lastly, as a testament to Alla's creativity, she saved the extra fabric and beading from altering my gown and created a lovely pillow. It will be perfect for the ring bearer the day of, and I will treasure it as a keepsake afterwards. I hope to donate my dress after the wedding, so the pillow will be a precious memory!

Too much material taken off making the dress way too revealing, completely uneven hem along the bottom. Not only that, but they were so rude, wouldn't let her try on a couple different pairs of shoes to make final choice, and pushed her out after 30 minutes. I found Sienna after doing some research, and easily made an appointment for me and my friend the following week. Working with Sienna was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We were given all the time we needed (And we needed it! On one visit, I brought my friend 17 pairs of shoes to try on, no joke!), she listened to exactly what each of us wanted for our dress alterations, and she miraculously totally fixed the botch job the other tailor did. When we first went in, my friend was convinced she'd need to scramble to find a new wedding dress with just 30 days time, and after just a couple visits, she had a gorgeous dress that looked as though it was made just for her. My bridesmaids' dress came out great, too, as did a pair of jeans that needed hemming that I threw into the mix. I can't thank Sienna enough for her great work, patience, and professionalism. She knows exactly how to make each person feel beautiful through decades of experience. I recommend her to anyone needing help with fit & alterations, not only with a wedding dress but your every day clothes as well. Thank you so much, Sienna, for making my friend's wedding day!

I paid for the sweater they lost and don't feel like getting into an extended back and forth with them but I wouldn't recommend them if you want to get all your clothes back. The pieces that came back cleaned also didn't look like they had been cleaned thoroughly. One of them was a pair of pants that was covered with lint and loose threads. The other was a winter puffer coat that had bits of fuzz still stuck to the velcro parts.
