You'd better be prepared to sit, listen, and take notes for the full 2 or 3 hours if you want it to be worthwhile. Since they have been doing exam reviews for so long they have acquired previous exams from teachers and possible questions for upcoming exams to help you do the best you can! The tutor is so knowledgable and is able to lecture on everything from Econ (which he has saved my grade in) to Spanish to Eller entrance exams! They are able to cram an entire month's worth (or more) of material in to a few hours and make it make sense. I wish all of my classes were like this! If you're the least bit worried about an upcoming exam, be here! The 20 or 25 dollars you'll spend will be worth it when you see that A on your graded test!

I had no prior knowledge of finite before taking it this year and would not have done near as well as I did had I not done this program. I went to class everyday and went to tutoring three times a week for 50minutes. I learned the material much better in one 50minute session of tutoring than I did in two class periods. The tutors at CTS take time to make sure their students understand the material and give plenty of practice problems that you do not get just attending class. The exam reviews were extremely helpful and covered all the material that was on my exams. I finished with a B+ in this course and would not have had I not enrolled in this program. It is a great investment and I highly suggest it.

My name is Tessa, and I am a 41 year old bachelors student in the law program at the University of…read moreArizona. I attend school part time and work full time. I decided last year that I wanted to give law school a shot. I took a practice LSAT cold and did absolutely terrible. I knew I needed help. I looked into online tutoring programs through Kaplan as well as in person at the University of Arizona. The LSAT is complex. There is the aspect of understanding what they are asking, developing a strategy to answer, and then doing in the limited amount of time given. I knew I needed in person instruction. I reached out to Doug after finding him on google. Doug taught me a skillset that I will use in test taking for years to come. Doug was able to identify my weaknesses and strengths. Rather than focus on improving my weaknesses, he focused on building my strengths and a realistic strategy to make the weaknesses work. Doug has methods that are not taught in mainstream prep courses. He will tailor them to your individual needs and continuously builds on them. Each session I had was built on the one before. He is amenable to schedule changes and will accommodate you however he can. Doug endured my family life continuing on around us without sacrificing the quality of instruction I received. I was able to improve my score by 10 points in 4 mos. of instruction with Doug. If you have individual needs and direction, then Doug is the right choice. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in his expertise of LSAT prep. Thank you Doug for being part of this journey!!

(Try searching for me there and see all my five-star reviews.) In my 19 years in the business I've helped more than a thousand students attain the results they need and gain admission to their graduate programs of choice. What do YOU want to achieve? In addition to my experience teaching, and training other teachers, I've taken the official version of every test I teach, scoring perfectly (GMAT and GRE) or 99th percentile (177 LSAT, 521 MCAT) on all of them. In the case of the MCAT I've taken all three versions: the written version, the computer version that appeared in 2006, and the newest iteration that appeared in 2015. Make sure your tutor is fully familiar with the test you want to prep for. Let me help you prepare for the upcoming tests, or get set up now for a summer of preparation. I'm available throughout the year, any day of the week, morning through evening.

She employed some great teachers and they provided some fun and engaging activities. Like a CSI unit, science activities and fun creative activities. This is key--not all kids learn the same thing the same way, but Mrs. Shader, a seasoned elementary-school vet who used to run Millbrae's GATE program (when we had one), draws from an arsenal of technique to help every kid get it--with kindness, encouragement, and one very tangible reward system. RevUps and summer camps are exceptionally well-organized, and professionally staffed. Clean, safe home (sanitizes work-space between sessions), and a clear parent-communicator. Both my daughters love learning because of her, and their report cards show it.
