I have a 1 year old daughter who attends here. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I always feel like there is room for improvement. *Pros: large facility, clean, structured, low turnover rate, kind staff, my child doesn't come home sick all the time *Cons: pricey, location (far from my job), cameras to check in on my child I have taken my daughter to daycares with camera parents sign into. I understand privacy policies but it was real nice being able to check on your child every now and then. Overall: I would recommend this to my friends and family for daycare. I can't speak much for camps and before/after school programs but they do provide a lot of great activities from what I read. read more

The whole place is out of order and sketchy, director constantly hiring, you have current employees training teachers and then telling all the drama to new people, current employees if it's such a bad place then why continue work there? And say horrible things about director(boss) 1 teacher tells everything , there's actually 3 of them ..about the whole place and how it's ran how new people don't last and this is how the boss is and if she continues to treat people like that she's going to continue losing people. New people don't last hours are not guaranteed it's only closers. Every young woman of all the teachers has complained to new teachers about hours and how they do what they want. They clean the tables with white thin cloths and rinse them out turn around wipe every nose and hand of every child and reuse on table. Witness a teacher telling multiple kids do u want a spanking? For misbehavior, they all walk around with attitudes no communication act like they don't want to train. Had a teacher also say cameras are in place just for the look cameras don't work they don't want other parents watching other children also it's also bad because there's no way to prove that's all the teachers are on there cellphones keep them in there hand all day and in pocket hide them under the child's sleeping mat as soon as the assistant or health and specialist walks in. They know that employees are on there phone won't do anything about it. They also get the parents numbers as communication to text thru out the day and say that's the reason why they need there phone. They like blaming teachers for diapers and putting blame on not having enough diapers or putting wrong diaper on a child. There's no way to prove all the teachers are on there cellphone but make employees sign a phone contact but there on there phone 24/7. Teachers call out alot and complain why are other teachers going home early.theres is a lead teacher there's that always has panic attacks n saying omg to the kids u guys are bad she calls off everyday never there then says u dont get hours. They bounce teachers around never in a consistent room there was suppose to have a new room open and never opened for kids to be in and start new teachers in. Witness a teacher popping a child on the hand, never got direct deposit information up until the last point. The teachers currently here talk about the director and said very bad things but continue to work there not sure if she knows it but they have workers there telling any and all new oncoming people stuff and then say that's why they don't last they really tell everything that's going on there but continue to stay there. There is also a couple that works there have the same skedule and constantly in one another's room sneaking and hiding when there not suppose to be out the room witness a teacher giving something to another while the director was across the way and she got scared and said I think the director saw me so the other one told her to go around the other way so she wouldn't see her. Teachers try to find out personal information ask a bunch of questions then gossip everything is gossip. They talk to u like ur stupid like as if u don't know what's going on. Send people home early if they get mad at you as well there is favtsm there. Quite a bite race going on there too if there not able to communicate. One teacher talks so badly about the owner but reports everything back to her on cellphone. Text her .. Teachers complain about having another class in there class and why can't they go to there own and be with there teacher. Everything was late in paper work I had to keep asking for my ADP login and direct deposit when other teachers got there. They say 1 thing but body actions doing another they make it seem all nice n good and it's not do not take your kids here at all ! They need to get rid of some of the workers currently there is why there messing everything up for incoming people telling stuff and discouraging new workers everything is negative out there mouth towards about the boss and towards her I though it was so messed up. read more

This place is very image based and has a very high teacher turnover rate, and based on what I witnessed, it's probably due to lack of admin support and unprofessionalism. The kids (especially the school age kids) are completely out of control and under paid and under trained teachers have no support when dealing with challenging behaviors. They have no problems barking orders at staff, leaving them feeling devalued and under appreciated. They seemed to care more about a floor being swept than the safety of the children. We truly love this center. Our grandson has been coming here for over a year now. His teacher is amazing. She takes her time with the kids and always has a smile on her face when we see her. The director is always kind to us when we come in saying hello and good. morning. She also knows all the kids by name which is amazing to us seeing how many kids are there. That shows she truly cares and takes the time to get to know them. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and friendly. All together the staff are amazing and give great service. The teachers are amazing. My grandsons teacher goes above and beyond with the kids every time I am there I see her interacting with them and always happy! They spend quality time getting to know the kids one by one. The director values my concerns and makes sure if anything happens to contact me and let me know. My grandaughter attends this school and she loves it..we are always greeted in the morning by the Director or the Assistant..my grandaughter is so proud of her school her personality has grown significantly being there..she loves her teachers...her journey there has been a Blessing even for her mom n dad..and myself because of the joy she has and the learning she has taken in..the environment when you walk in is pleasant and soothing there is always something up for the occasions..One thing for sure honestly can say if there is anything you need or going through they will help you.. Waited for my interview for over an hour and when I met Tammy , or Tamara?? Idk her name but she was rude, didn't even apologize. Only asked about three questions and repeated the 2nd one twice and said she had a bad headache and couldn't remember her questions being asked to me. Seemed like she rushed the interview. I love this place so much! Both of my kids are really happy here. They have grown so much! My daughter is starting to read and my son is now potty trained! The teachers are so amazing! I really can't say enough great things about this daycare. The teachers are kind and take their time with each child. They are open from 6:00am-6:30pm. I love love love this daycare! The teachers are great from my experience with my children, however the director Tammy is very pushy and antagonizing when it comes to making a payment for being only a couple days late and IF THAT. She has followed me out to my car and threatened not to allow my child to be dropped off. I am a single mother that works hard like the rest of us. Their father also picks up and drops off as well and she has NEVER not once asked him. I make my payments weekly as I am supposed to and when you owe less than $100 for 1 week and being hounded it's very frustrating when the payments get paid regardless the day of that same week. I have had to contact corporate a multiple times because of it. And they can see my payment history is not delinquent. My children have been going here since 2019 before she came and she has a very rude personality and persona about her presence ever since day one. And now after her constantly harassing me I have chose to part ways and disenroll my child because of her and the way she conducts business. read more

I'm usually a pretty understanding person and do not like to leave reviews but this place is a a joke. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE 1) they are under staffed and my daughter always had different teachers 2) when I'd go pick her up it was always chaotic one time I saw multiple kids in the restroom unattended playing in the toilet water and one even came out crying with his face full of soap A teacher saw him and did nothing 3) multiple occasions my daughter came home with dirty underwear because she wasn't cleaned correctly and it resulted in rashes 4) she got bit twice (which I understand happens) but me and her father were not notified. They told me once I got there 5) they have "cameras" and screens but the whole time I sent my daughter there they never worked or were never on 6) they only ID'd me once and never ever did I see them Id anyone coming into that building or even check If they are able to pick up those children, On one occasion they allowed someone who wasn't on the pick up list to take my child out of class 7) my daughter ended up hospitalized for a week with RSV and when I called to notify them their response was "oh yeah there's been a couple kids out with RSV" yet we never got notified about that no email nothing and when I asked why they don't tell parents about cases like that they said they put a paper on the door of the class that has had cases which 1) if it's not on my daughters door how would I be aware and 2) they move the kids around all day so my child could come in contact with that other class. When I asked why they wouldn't email parents letting them know their response was "because their system isn't set up to send out emails about that." But it sure as hell is set up to email us about tuition increase and supplies needed! 8) and lastly they will continue to charge you after you've unenrolled your child even when having an email from them stating you won't get charged any more and also after speaking to Betty and her saying your not gonna get charged anymore and guess what we got charged again! $400 they have taken from our bank and apparently there's only one person in that WHOLE FACILITY that can handle billing and answer your questions which is Betty and by chance she's always "not in" when you need a solution to their mess up! So please save yourself a headache and find elsewhere to send your child read more

This daycare has provided wonderful care for my 20 month old son! The staff is truly caring and attentive and treats my son like their own! For a while he had some issues adjusting when I'd drop him off as he would cry and cling to me, but no matter what he was always so happy and in a great mood when I'd pick him up. I consider that a good indicator that he is well cared for. Staff is quick to call and let me know of any accidents or illnesses. I like receiving a paper daily report on what he has eaten and status on diaper checks. If I could suggest anything I'd recommend having an app for parents to check in to get live updates on what kiddos are doing, eating, diaper status, and able to login to a portal to check on invoice balance and pay from there. I know other daycares do that and it makes life a lot easier and keeps parents informed at all times. Otherwise good job CLA! Definitely recommend! read more

The Children's Learning Adventure on Hemisphere Loop has been wonderful for my family. My son has been going for almost five years now, and my daughter for two. Both receive excellent care and I am confident everyday they are being well looked after while my wife and I work. The teachers have done such a great job getting to know our children and making drop off so much easier by providing a welcoming environment that includes music, toys and activities. I definitely recommend CLA if you are looking for an excellent private preschool. read more

I had never put my little girl in daycare before so at 1st it was kind of hard for me but the staff were super friendly, said I could call anytime I would like.. but the most important thing is, is that my daughter loves it and loves going there!! Well first off, I decided to enroll my child in there because my friend had a good experience with them. My son was not so happy to stay there it was his first time going to day care so I knew it was going to take some time to adjust. The first week was fine my son was placed it "explore 6". The second week I noticed the teacher was not there and they had substitutes. One of the subs was really rude and even made rude remarks towards my son. I was dropping him off one days and she notices my son and with a mean face says oh it's "Sebastian again". I felt so horrible to leave him there. The next day she laughed at him for crying. That same afternoon when I went to pick him up my son was in nap time asleep but with another kids blanket as another substitute carried my sons blanket. I asked why and she just told me she didn't know. I got my son and he smelled kind of funny. When I got home I changed his diaper and he still had a bit of poo on his bottom. Someone change his diaper but not correctly and he got a rash. I make a report with the Director. A week later he got a pink and that was it I took him out of there. I went three weeks later to pick up his clothes and blankets that I had left there and they were nowhere to be found. I had left two sheets, a blanket, and three pairs of clothes which is not cheap and they just all were simply miss placed. It's supposed to be a high quality care place and you're paying quite a bit of money and you expect your kids to be taken care of in the correct manner but at this place you're not going to get that. Don't do it. It may look nice but their staff is not the best. It's too many kids and not enough people to care for them especially the little ones. Keep your kids safe. read more

My daughter has been going to this daycare for nearly two years now and I couldn't be happier. The prices are fair and the attention the staff pay to each child is worth every penny. It's a place where the teachers and administration know your kid's name and greet you with a smile. As staff members rotate out, much as they tend to do, there's been one constant and that's Tammy M. She has been absolutely fantastic with my daughter day in and day out and is never too busy for a hug and a quick chat. I feel that there are often people you meet who greatly help shape the lives of our little ones and she's certainly one of the best at what she does. read more

My son has been going to Children's Learning Adventure for most of his life and the staff is like family to us! He just started Kindergarten and I received this note from his teacher: "Brycen is very bright and very kind in the classroom. He easily joined in the cleaning up of the classroom after activities and your work with him and his previous preschool shows. I can see that I will need to challenge him, as my preliminary assessments tell me he knows most of his alphabet and has some great basic phonemic awareness." It has gotten better. Now in my children's classes they each have one teacher that are each genuinely happy and that make our kids feel comfortable at drop off time which has gotten a whole lot better with my son. Overall it is a really nice facility and the staff up front does a great job and is always very helpful but i just wish there was more focus on education that is relayed back to us the parents so we can work on the same things at home. The daily reports are still very generic and thats where i wish they would provide more curriculum details that we can re-inforce at home. I've had a few issues that I have wanted to discuss with a director or a an individual in management and every time I ask to speak to someone or for a call back it never happens...the only thing they ever call for is to collect payment. It is starting to bother me because I feel like a lot of the upper management only care about taking as much money from you as possible charging late fees when you tried to make the payment early. It makes me feel like my concerns with the daycare and my children are unimportant to them and do not matter enough for them to call me. One of the main reason is due to Tammy M, she has made us fill like family , and is always kind , helpfull , and my grandson just loves her . Let's just say everything that glitters isn't gold. This place caught my attention by the grand appearance, and the tour they give you is very promising. My family and I just moved to Tucson a few months ago. Our neighbor told us that this place was good and both of her kids, who are now in elementary school, went there and they loved it. I have a 2yr old that hasn't been to daycare since he was about 15months. I explained to them that he is having a hard time with the transition from our previous duty station. They assured me that they will make sure that they take extra care of him, and make him feel at home. We also informed them that he is in the midst of potty training and wanted to know if they assisted with that. We were promised that they would help with the potty training....=/ Long story short, my son came home with rashes on his butt because they were letting him fall in the toilet. They wouldn't allow him to use a training seat. You know they ones that you use for travel? Apparently, there is some type of contractual issue with the use of a "training seat" in their facility. I decided to send him in with the cloth training pants so he will be used to wearing undies. My son is now afraid to sit on the toilet because he believes he will fall in. Everyday he came home multiple bags of soiled clothes. One Friday they sent home the usual bags of soiled clothes, but we had a little present this time. I opened up the bag and there was his cloth pull up filled with poop. They didn't even dump it out and rinse the pullup out. They wear gloves for Christ sakes. I was livid, but I had the weekend to cool off. I talked to the director about it and she had no answers and neither did the teachers. No one knew how a shitty pullup ended up in his bag. They also called me multiple times through out the day because they said that my 2yr old was biting other kids. We have never had this issue, so I was taken aback. When I picked him up he had a gash, yes a gash, on his forehead, and scratches all on his face. When I asked what happened, they told me that they didn't know how he got it. I explained to them that this didn't happen at home and if they notice anything on him they need to report it to me, and write an incident report. After this they called me and my husband almost everyday. And pretty much every time my son came home with bite marks on his stomach and back, scratches and bruises on his arms, legs, and face. They never had an answer for how he got hurt, and blamed it on him being a tough kid and he doesn't cry when he gets hurt. They started to threaten to kick him out of the program due to the amount of incidents he has had, yet they still was unable to tell us how he was coming home everyday with a new scratch, bite, or bruise. We even took pictures of all the scratches and bruises and bite marks and showed them to the director. She couldn't say anything but sorry and they didn't report it so there is nothing that she can do about it. I was starting to feel like he wasn't wanted there, and I believed he could feel it too. He would start trembling in fear whenever we would come to the door of his classroom. The teachers weren't very professional or caring at all, and there is a high turnover. Kids need stability and familiarity. If you keep switching/firing teachers, or teachers quitting, every few weeks, the kids will never get adjusted. We had them there for a little over a month and decided to take them out because I wasn't feeling comfortable leaving my kids there any longer. One of the first desk girls suggested that I put my baby on meds. How professional. She told me to give him melatonin guys to calm him down. That isn't something that you say to a parent, and your not a doctor sweetie. I was annoyed. My 1yr old's teachers were ok. The only thing with them is that they didn't change him often. He has never had a diaper rash before, but when he did he was in their care. The rash was all up his thigh and he still has scars from it. I cried because he was in so much pain. They also lied to me about him getting hurt. The report says he tripped and fell and bust his lip, but another teacher said he was standing a chair and fell. I wouldn't recommend this place. They don't care for your kids the way they promise and its not very clean. They have all those different rooms, but its mainly for the bigger kids. The curriculum that they say they have is nonexistent. If I could go back, I would have never enrolled my kids here. There isn't a more unsettling feeling, than leaving your children somewhere that gives empty promises. They are also supposed to have cameras in the classrooms but they don't work. I don't understand how the heck you get so much money, damn near $1,700 from my family alone, but you can't fix your cameras, or get a cleaning company to thoroughly clean the place. read more

I pulled my children from this day care in Feb 2012. The care was horrible, my children were always injured and teachers nor management ever knew what happened. After being enroll for six months the day care lost my children's sheets and blankets, extra changes of clothes and diapers several times. The Director was so incompetent so I spoke with the Regional Manager she offered no solutions just apologies. I also spoke with the Vice President of the company on several occasions and she would just say we are working really hard to get better teachers or she would say we have a training scheduled for the staff. I finally had enough and pulled my children out. I found a neighbor who cared for my children but I was concerned they wouldn't be ready for kindergarten. My coworker had asked me how my babysitter was doing, I had missed three days of work my sitter was sick. I asked her if she still had her children at children's learning adventures. She said yes, things have really improved. She mentioned they had all new management staff and new teaching staff. She said the new teachers are more professional and seem happy to be there. She reminded me of how miserable the teacher in our children's classroom was. I asked her if she had any more problems she said yes. She said she left a message with the front office staff to have the Director call her. She wanted to speak with her bout a lost blanket. She said she received a call from the Regional Manager. He apologized for the confusion and informed the blanket had been located. When she arrived the next morning her child's teacher apologized for the situation and let her know the blanket had been sent to laundry. The blank was clean and folded neatly in her child's cubby. She was impressed by the follow up from the staff. She said you should give it another try. I was on the fence, but decided to visit the day care one more time. When I toured, the center seemed cleaner than I remembered it and the classroom were calm and organized. Teachers said hello as I walked pass them and really seemed happy to be there. The Regional manager introduced himself and reassured me the team would make this the best learning experience for my children. I was taken back seeing a male in the center, however he was very professional and polite. I decided to give the center another try. I enrolled by children March 2013. I later received an e mail from the regional manager thanking me for touring the center and asking for feedback on how they could improve on my experience at the center. I had never received any follow up communication form anyone at this day care before. Since returning my children really enjoy going to the school. They like their teachers and are learning every day. We have had some minor issues but I receive regular follow up communication from the teachers, office staff and Regional Manager. The school has changed dramatically for the better. Happy staff and responsive managers have won me over. Its been six months since our return and we plan on staying. My children will be going to kindergarten but will attended children's learning adventure for before and after school care. read more

The management at this daycare is discriminatory, unprofessional & rude. They do not care about the welfare or education of your child. They only care about your money. The educational program they promote so well is not enforced, as they will not give the teachers the resources to teach the children.If your child is on any kind of medication or has a special need, they will make you take your child out of the program so that they can do a care plan, which takes weeks, ensuring that you either have to look elsewhere or take valuable time off of work. Don't judge a book by it's cover! The place looks great, but the staff, management and other parents will tell you otherwise. Most of the teachers are very nice, but the classes are over-crowded and the teachers admit they cannot keep up w/ the kids. We would get incident reports about our child's misbehaviors, but once we started to request reports about black-and-blue bite marks and scratches we weren't notified about and started reporting things we would see w/in the classroom, the reports against our child became excessive (to make it appear that he was the problem) until the director dis-enrolled him, w/out even requesting a parent conference or making a behavior plan. She said "maybe this facility wasn't a good fit for us"... apparently if you pay $800 a mo and actually expect your child to be taken care of, you're not a good fit. read more

We just moved to the Tucson area and the Learning Center was suggested to me by my son's school. When I called the person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and could tell I was anxious about our relocation to a new area. She made me feel very comfortable about setting up a tour with the facility. When I arrived for the tour my experience was more than I could've hoped for. Chris was amazing! He showed me everything and explained all that the center had to offer. My anxiety decreased immensely. I knew that was where my son would best be taken care of, especially since he was being bused there from his school. He even promised to call me on his 1st day to let me know my son made it to the center safely (and he followed through with his promise). My son has told me nothing but great things about being there! He LOVES it, which makes me LOVE it! The staff is welcoming, caring, and genuinely loves each child that walks in the doors of that center. I highly recommend it to everyone!!! read more
