There was no place to charge our cell phones, so we had to put them in the bathroom. The room smelled awful, and there was no circulation. The air conditioner was so loud it kept us up, so we had to turn it off and suffer from the smell and lack of circulation. I would have preferred to have slept in my car and gone to a truck stop for a morning shower had my wife not been with me. And worst of all, I took the heat from my wife since I picked the hotel from the Marriott app. With the $150.00 we spent on this place, I'm pretty sure we could have done better at a Motel 6 at half the price. Going forward, I won't rely on only Marriott-branded hotels.

The woman was requesting a refund for a mistake that the hotel made, something about her booking a pet friendly room in advance but upon arrival there were not left. She very reasonably asked to be refunded for the hotel's mistake and the man at the desk took no time to start yelling. She kept asking normal questions, and he refused to answer them, also refusing to share his name when she asked. This lasted for about 5 mins. I'm not sure how it ended but it was truly disturbing to witness and made me incredibly uneasy to be staying there knowing he was the only one on duty. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone else and certainly will never be staying here again myself. *update, read through other reviews after posting this initially to see there's other incidences of a male employee yelling at female customers. I reported last night's instance to corporate Best Western, but it's even more appalling to learn this behavior has occurred before and he's still working there.
