I had my wife call and leave her number also. Neither of us got a call back. Don't believe me? Call his office. You won't get a response. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Absolutely impossible to get ahold of this doctors office. They only have a voice mail. His office does not call back! They have a web form for appointments that they ignore. I only got a response when I got another doctor to refer me, and even then I couldn't talk to anyone from the actual office to schedule an appointment. My brother is an existing patient and he can't get them to call him back either. Don't waste your time. You won't have a good time.

I understand that I missed appointments in the past, and I take responsibility for that. However, those missed appointments were months ago, and since then I've been told that I can only schedule same-day appointments. The problem is that when I call for a same-day appointment, I'm then told the office is already fully booked. That leaves me in a situation where I'm unable to schedule in advance, but I also can't reliably be seen the same day. I called today because I'm currently dealing with an issue that requires medical attention, and I even took half a day off work specifically so I could be seen, only to be told there was no availability. I completely understand having policies regarding missed appointments, but there should also be a reasonable path for established patients to regain normal scheduling privileges, especially after several months. A policy that prevents a patient from scheduling ahead while offering no guarantee of same-day availability makes it extremely difficult to access care. After being a patient here for years, it's disappointing that I'm now considering finding another provider simply because I cannot reliably get an appointment when I need medical care.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ghazi for the past ~18 months and have nothing but good things to share. Whenever I have an appointment she is on time and allocates time to listen to me as I discuss how things are going. I am pleased with our results to date. My allergies are well controlled with minimal amount of meds. Having gone through 'immunotherapy' (allergy shots) a couple times in a previous life with 2 different allergists I was not looking forward to repeating it upon moving to Dallas. To her credit Dr. Ghazi has not pushed me to repeat them. Instead we are monitoring my allergies and will adjust our plan according to how I do. How about that? No mandate to complete another course of immunotherapy. I am super appreciative of this approach. And if that isn't enough, when I first began visiting Dr. Ghazi, she informed me the goal was to reduce my allergy meds to the bare minimum and if possible to completely eliminate them. While I'm not down to zero, I am taking a lesser amount with a much lower dosage. I love a doctor who is NOT a pill pusher. Dr. Ghazi is very respectful of her patient's time. She (and the office staff) are punctual. And she accomplishes this while still spending the required time to communicate with her patients. Whenever I have an appointment for a specific issue (mostly a sinus infection; I've dealt with chronic infections for many years) she asks questions to identify a course of action. Sometimes it results in antibiotic and other times it's to continue the course I am already taking without any additional prescription meds. If you're looking for an allergy specialist you can stop your search. Dr. Ghazi is the doctor for you.

Within minutes of walking into her office for a consult, she told me immediately several things that were wrong, got me on the right prescriptions and more than, literally fought my with insurance company to get me specialty injections that have completed renewed my health. While I am not 100 firing on thrusters yet, we're getting there. She and her staff are extremely professional, yet kind and supportive. I think she is literally one of the best doctors I've ever been to. I simply cannot recommend her enough. You have allergies - go see her!

I had been putting off a colonoscopy for about a decade. I didn't realize the age had been lowered…read moreto 45 for your first baseline procedure. I thought it was a rite of passage at 50 years old. Even then, I skipped the procedure because the Covid lockdown was in full effect and all anyone ever talks about is the horrible preparation for the procedure. I opted for the poop-in-a-box instead of the real deal. After the Covid lockdown was lifted, it became impossible to ignore this. Plus, since I wasn't working, I actually had time to deal with the preparation. The administrator that handled my case was very professional, empathetic, but also very persistent. She was not going to let me back out, and frankly I needed this dedicated individual to answer my questions and keep me on target to completion. She was available to answer my questions, no matter how ridiculous or improbable or mundane they might of seemed. Generally she didn't answer the phone, but she was always good about calling me back and giving me the time and attention I needed. The procedure only happens on Mondays and Thursdays. I had to book several weeks in advance. When I got Covid and wanted to cancel, she wouldn't let me. When I told her my fears about the preparation solution, she offered me tablets instead of the unusual tasting liquid. When I had trouble getting the prescription tablets filled at my pharmacy, she rerouted my prescription to a pharmacy that was able to fulfill my request and mail them to me. When I shared my fears about being on a low fiber diet in the days leading up to the procedure, she calmly offered suggestions and helped me come up with a working meal plan. I never did meet this woman, but she is the only reason I was able to get through this procedure successfully. The clinic staff are separate from the administrative people, so you will have to fill out forms again while you wait in the lobby. Once your name is called, the people in the procedure area are all old hats at this. They will go through everything at lightening speed. In fact, since I was without food, water, and sleep, I couldn't think clearly, and consequently, I had trouble understanding them when they spoke so quickly. If there was one thing I would change, it would be asking the staff to slow down just a little. Also, share the medical history from the administrative forms I previously filled out with the procedure staff so that I don't have to do it from memory in a tired and unfueled state. Other than that, everyone was very kind and professional. Despite my fears, they took good care of me. The final report was provided that answered all of my questions. The doctor and nurse did talk to me after the procedure to let me know how everything went, but when you are coming out of anesthesia, it is hard to remember the details. The report had colored pictures of my colon. It was well diagrammed so that you could identify the different internal parts. This report was also sent digitally through the secure portal with the final notes and biopsy results. Depending on your insurance, there may be separate costs for facility charges, anesthesia, and any special tasks that are performed during the procedure, like removing polyps. Because of this, it might be hard to get an exact cost up front. Afterwards, you might be receiving multiple bills from different entities. I hate this! It really should be coordinated and provided to the patient on one bill to rule them all, but such is the status of healthcare in America. Thankfully I don't have to return for a decade. Hopefully in that time, the medical profession will find new ways to screen for colorectal cancers that aren't so invasive or anxiety producing. If not, well, I would certainly trust this establishment with my care again.

During my last visit, one of the nurses gave me some great, practical tips for managing my allergies, even sharing what works for her own kids, which I really appreciated. While that isn't the fault of the practice itself (third-party insurance is the absolute worst), it definitely made the start of my journey here rocky. More recently, they've implemented a new sign-in sheet process. Since this was a change from previous visits, I mistakenly thought it was only for new patients. Within the past ~18 months Dr. Ghazi ventured out on her own and opened DFW Asthma & Allergy Center. The new facility is state of the art and definitely compliments Dr. Ghazi's approach to patient care. The waiting area is comfortable and contains several comfy chairs along with a very comfy sofa. The exam rooms are equipped with the usual table and have several chairs in the event someone wants to accompany a patient on the visit. Her staff is equally caring and aligned with her approach to patient care. The receptionist promptly answers calls and do their best to accommodate personal schedule needs when setting up an appointment. On appointment day I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. The nurses I've encountered are kind and engaging. Also, since venturing out Dr. Ghazi is using technology to her advantage by providing many web-based services. After a recent visit and recommended course of action I was able to follow up with her via email. I am very impressed with how prompt her responses are. Add to that this was way more convenient for me than getting into a game of phone tag. While the new location is not as conveniently located for me, similar to many of her pre-existing patients, I chose to follow her for the top notch care she provides. If I was informed prior to the day before my appointment that I needed to fill out the paperwork by 5 pm then that would have been different. But whoever was texting me was rude, unprofessional, and disgusting. I confirmed that I was attending my appointment prior to 5pm and planned on doing my paperwork once I got home.
