I just moved to the area and am so grateful I found a great dentist practice! I was lucky and managed to get an appointment earlier than expected. The staff at the front desk are extremely kind and professional. Check-in was a very quick process and I was surprised to be called to the back on-time. I had walked to the office that day and it was super hot, and they were super sweet and gave me a bottle of water for my walk back. Talk about going above and beyond! I met Dr. Aaron and he was very personable. Even though I was just coming in for a cleaning and check-up the entire process was painless. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I would give 10 stars if I could! First off, I am the biggest chicken when it comes to dentistry. I am pretty phobic about going. From my first consultation with Dr. Aaron, I felt at ease. Still afraid, but something about his demeanor made me feel comfortable. It took me a while, but eventually I went to the office to get started on the work that had been delayed, for far too long. I am soooo thankful that I did! Please believe me when I tell you, my fears were unfounded! AWESOME dentist. Best by far I have known and prices are very good for people without insurance (I paid about 1/2 what I was quoted elsewhere for a deep cleaning). First thing she does is sit you in a chair and take x rays (I don't remember paying for the x rays) and then takes good notes after thorough exam. Then every time you go she brings up the screen with x rays and has everything ready. She is courteous and very knowledgeable. I referred 2 people to her already. Solid family business that is well run and that does high quality work. Very clean and nice family environment. Update... she shows you before and after pics of your teethe after cleaning. Nice to see what you paid for. She is an expert at novocaine (did not even feel it) and she is very sensitive to someone who dreads dentist visits. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Daisy since I was a kid and she was in an office in Moreno Valley. My whole family goes to her and some even make special visits to see her when in the L.A. area from the state of Washington! Since she knows our whole family's history, she is helpful in sharing some things to be aware of when it comes to problems other family members have... especially being part of the younger generation (even if I am in my 30s!). Radi and the office staff, as well as the dental hygeinists, are all great also... very friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, she has three seats and is the only dentist and manages her appointments well with TV's for access and viewing. Note that she books up 2-3 weeks in advance (3 weeks at the end of the year), so prepare yourself in advance! Bottom Line - I'm not a big fan of getting dental work done, but when I do... Dr. Daisy Sycamore Dental Practice is wonderful! I am a UCR student and have had her as my dentist since I started UCR three years ago. All the staff is nice. They make sure to explain to you a procedure, they show the patient the x-ray pictures and why you need the treatment. Finally, I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes either in the waiting area or in the room. I moved here from Connecticut about 8.5 years ago and for whatever reason I have had the WORST experiences with dentists in this state. That is, until I went and saw Dr. Daisy this morning. She and her staff were so kind and did not reccommend any unnecessary work just to get more money out of me. Everyone also took the time to explain what they were doing in great detail. Another dentist in there area quoted me almost $800 out of pocket for 8 fillings. Dr. Daisy said I only need 3 fillings and my out of pocket cost will be $88.00. I called this dentist to try and get the cost of a deep cleaning. They actually told me they won't give it to me because I might be from another office trying to figure out their pricing. Why would that matter if your pricing is your pricing. I've been in sales all of my life 32 years. If someone is unwilling to give you a price upfront I guarantee you there's expenses and hidden fees that will pop up once you decide to go with them. This was my first call to find A dentist and I am completely beside myself with this tactic. It sounded like a used car lot. And we all know what it's like to get a straight answer out of a used car salesman. I cannot speak to any of the services here as I will never set foot in the door. I'm extremely happy with going here. It tough because you want to make sure you find a good one. The things that stood out is everyone working there is super nice. So from the front desk to the assistants, all very nice. Next the Dr. Daisy was great. She showed me exact pictures of my teeth and explained in great detail the problems and whys of any questionable area. Also gave me a couple of teeth care tips no one has ever told me, they should have. Like for example, I use too much toothpaste on my brush. Honestly, I did know that was a thing! After moving from OC to Riverside in 2012, I urgently needed a Dentist when my font Crown came off..I went Yellow Pages and went to a Dentist that could see me right away, got the crown recemented! After a quick examination I walked out with an est of $4,000,and up that needed immediate attention.on my front teeth1 I was stunned, however I did not want to ignore findings,,so I went for 2nd opinion Dr.Coyoca was my 3rd opinion. The work I needed was confirmed, my estimates were 50% lower! I CHOOSE Dr. Coyoca, not just for the lower cost but she was the most INFORMATIVE of the 3 and did her own Root Canals, that is a very skillful procedure, that most Dentist contract out to an ENDODONTIST, she does this herself .Most of the work has been on my front teeth, which I am extremely picky about, since I like to smile. She did an absolutely wonderful job! Also told me If there is anything I do not like about the new bridge and caps, She will redo them until I am completely satisfied.! She did 2 root canals for me were pain less ,so she saved the theet and I now porcelain crowns. This is definitely a Dentist I would recommend to any of my friends and anyone who reads this. Thanks yelp! I was looking for a new dentist that was part of my delta dental plan, and luckily found Dr Daisy thanks to her rave reviews on yelp. I'll admit I was initially skeptical, but my experiences with her thus far have definitely merited 5 stars. I know it's long, but take the time to read through my review, and then go to Dr Daisy (seriously). Key points (for those of you who wont take the time to read the rest): - Dr Daisy spends a lot of time with you, and actually listens to you - amazing technology (tools that detected a cavity I had complained about for years) - no wait time (literally, less than 5 minutes) - friendly staff - really reasonable cost - no pushing of extra products at jacked up prices (e.g., electric toothbrush, mouthwash); in fact, I wasn't offered any :) The technology in this office is amazing. When I came in and sat in the chair I was a bit confused because the protocol is usually to go get x-rays first. At Dr Daisy's, they can take x-rays while you're in the chair, and they go to a large TV screen for you to see. After the hygienist took the x-rays Dr Daisy came in. In the past my experiences with dentists have been of the "zip in, zip out" variety. The dentist will pop in, check out my teeth for 1-2 minutes, and leave me with the dental hygenist for a "cleaning." This is definitely not the case with Dr. Daisy. She thoroughly inspected my teeth, and actually listened to me. I told her about a tooth that has been sensitive for years, with deep grooves on the surface that are stained. In the past dentists had told me it was just a stain, and no evidence of a cavity (using the typical poking method to check for softness - I don't know the technical term). So, even though my tooth passed the "poke" test, she went back to my x-rays and was able to zoom in on them to view possible cavities. She noted a small black dip on the tooth in question, and then looked through all of my teeth and identified an additional black dot. *** This is the cool part, I've never had a dentist do this. She used a camera wand to view my teeth up close, and this was displayed on the large TV screen so I could see as well. The wand took pictures of my teeth for easy future reference. She then turned on a special mode on the wand that emitted a red light - if you have a cavity, it will usually show a black dot. That method indicated a couple of black dots in the places she had identified on the x-rays, but only momentarily. She then made the wand emit a green light, and the cavity on my tooth (the one I had pointed out) turned into a large black spot, as did the other one she had identified. Finally, a dentist that listened to me, and had the resources to investigate my claims! The cool part was that this entire process was visible to me. I had my appointment on a Thursday, and was able to schedule an appointment for the fillings on the following Tuesday. Random aside - I mentioned earlier in the visit that I had been told by my previous dentist that I needed my wisdom teeth removed, but had delayed doing so because they said my portion of the cost would be $2,000 (ridiculous!). I guess she realized I don't want to spend money unnecessarily, and said the cavities on my teeth were really small and I could probably get the fillings done without the use of novocaine, which would reduce the cost. Delta dental only covers silver fillings, but of course I opted for the tooth-colored resin. My cost? About $85 for both of them! In the past I had paid $130 for each filling (with novocaine). Dr Daisy also spent a lot of time sculpting the fillings, and then made sure that the color matched my existing teeth. Dr Daisy also took the time to show me how long the roots were on some of my teeth (ideal length), and pointed out that the roots of my top front teeth had dissolved, and that I should take special care to notice whether they ever feel loose (she said this may have been due to my braces in the past, or always been that way). She was really surprised that this was new information to me, and that other dentists hadn't mentioned this. At my old dentist, a "cleaning" consisted of the dental hygienist simply polishing my teeth. With Dr Daisy, a cleaning means using a tool to scrape the surface of my teeth, followed by polishing by the hygienist. Minor points: - It was really easy to make an appointment: no need to schedule weeks ahead of time. - I've been to the office twice so far, and have waited under 5 minutes each time - Billing: you can pay your share at the time of service, instead of waiting for them to bill you later (I probably find this a huge plus because of the billing screw ups my previous dentist made) - your chair faces a window - it's nice to look out and see something other than the fluorescent lights and bland decor of typical offices I can't believe my review is so long, but when someone impresses me as much as Dr Daisy, I'll take the time to let others know. read more
