Do NOT buy your car from here. I purchased a car from this place back in early December. First things first, the guy Peter never even gave me a bill of sale. I did not know I needed this, but regardless, he should have given it to me in the first place when he sold me the car. So I end up waiting in line at the registry for 2 hours, only to be told I can't register the car without that. I was pissed. I went back there and asked him for it, which he wrote up for me. Everything seemed to be running fine, when suddenly two weeks later, I started having problems with my brakes. (This was still under the 30 day mark, so he fixed them free of cost). Great. Another week goes by, now I'm hearing a loud noise when I drive the car. Finally, I decide to have my boyfriend (who is a mechanic) take a look at it, and he tells me the brakes are rusted, (though Peter denied this), a head gasket needed to be changed, there is an engine leak coming from the bottom, other parts were rusted and needed to be replaced, and now after getting quotes from different shops, have been told I will need to pay over a thousand dollars to have it fixed. The car was $2000 for fucks sake. Peter is extremely deceiving, and will say every little thing you want to hear to get you to buy his shitty, used cars. I was also told that he patched up a bunch of other past engine leaks underneath as well, which he never even told me about. After taking a ride with him in the car and asking him what the noise in the back was (which were the struts), he denied hearing any noise, and claimed "It's just an old car, that's what they do." He was not completely honest with me about everything that was wrong with the car. After having my boyfriend come in with me to speak about the issues with the vehicle, Peter got extremely defensive, and claimed he happened to know so much more than him, saying stupid shit like "Well I've been doing this over 30 years I think I know a lot more than you do" etc. and getting argumentative. Yet, my boyfriend was able to spot another problem that Peter apparently "didn't know about" and told my boyfriend that was a "good catch." If he's such an experienced mechanic, why wouldn't he have fixed the clear, obvious problems that were wrong with the car??? This guy is just looking to make a quick buck and that's it. He is extremely untrustworthy and deceptive. PLEASE consider purchasing your car from any other dealership and save your money and time. read more
