If this review were about service alone, it would be five stars. Unfortunately, it's about the products. Strike one: I bought several beach towels. They sat UNUSED in my garage for a few weeks, and when I brought two back to exchange for a different color, one had visibly faded -- from UV light coming through a garage window. A beach towel that fades from indirect sunlight, before it ever saw a beach. Nika exchanged them without charge, and I liked the look enough to buy six more. Strike two: I then invested in a large, very expensive market umbrella with a heavy base, plus two smaller umbrellas with the same bases. In less than THREE MONTHS, the bases were rusting. These are outdoor products from a premium coastal-lifestyle brand -- rusting in under a season. Again Nika came to the rescue, swapping them for stainless steel bases (I paid the difference). After the second failure, something felt off for such a high-end-looking company, so I finally did what I should have done first: I Googled their reviews. They were astonishingly low. Now I understand why. Beautiful designs, wonderful in-store service, but the products simply don't hold up to their intended use. At these prices, that's not acceptable. Do your homework before you buy -- I wish I had.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought a white sweater here and got home and unpacked it…read morefrom the tissue paper and it had bled all over the sweater. I went to return/exchange it and they claimed there was no way. That their magic tissue paper doesn't bleed. And it was the wrong color. She pulls out their tissue paper and puts it next to the stain and it's literally the exact same color. Apparently her manager said there is no way that happened. I was pulling up my receipt and it was clear they were in no way willing to help me resolve my issue. My $70 sweater with their tags still attached is ruined - clearly didn't have the stains when I bought it and after being wrapped in their tissue paper for a few days, it did. I said, it doesn't appear that you're going to do anything as she was hiding in the room talking to her manager on the phone about it. And so I was sent away with a brand new sweater ruined by their "non bleeding" magic tissue paper. Every store in laguna carries the same products so I will for sure be giving my business to another one.

As someone who enjoys shopping at this boutique, I was disappointed by the lack of customer care and hospitality during this visit.
