Firstly I was told that this tow truck company would come and retrieve my car in less than an hour. It took over three hours with them constantly pushing the time later and later each time I called. Thankfully Elvis managed to get my car to the auto body shop in one piece and all was well! Upon getting my car from the auto body shop this morning and driving home i noticed that the tow hitch was still in the front of my car which i tried to pull and get out. I called the company since they mistakenly left it in and spoke to rich, Richard, who would not give me his last name although he obviously knew mine. He told me try to do it myself or come to Manhattan. I told him i couldn't and i wasn't coming out to Manhattan from Brooklyn for something that was their fault. He then had the nerve to ask me if i had a boyfriend or a husband to which i responded no I'm a single woman what in the world. He was beyond unprofessional and unhelpful!!!!! This is not a company that i will be using in the future!

They were fast and nice. While there they noticed my tail light was busted. They ordered one right away and told me to come back the next day in the afternoon. I went two days later. I just showed up- they said stay in your car. They did it for me right there while I was waiting. Fast and nice and that's what I want. I can not speak to prices because it's a fleet vehicle so I never see the cost. This is not a fancy place where you go in, wait, have coffee in the lounge etc. It's a dirty- greasy garage- and as long as they stay as fast and courteous as they were- that's plenty good for me.

However, the owner is very defensive and gets angry if you ask him to explain anything, especially if you ask the price of any type of service. He got angry with me for questioning why an oil change was $85. He expected a young woman to know about synthetic oil vs regular oil. How the heck am I supposed to know about that stuff? And even so, he should have offered me a choice. You don't ask for an oil change and get hit with an $85 bill! The very next day, I got an email from Honda offering an oil change for $25! If you just ask how much something is going to cost, he goes on a tirade about his prices vs Honda prices. Maybe it's time for him to retire. A month later, I gave John another chance. I brought a brand new car there and asked for an inspection. All I did was tell him that it was a new car, and he started yelling at me again. He said to me in a nasty way "Do you think I wouldn't have figured out that it was new on my own?" That's when I walked out and decided that I will never step foot in that place again and I will never recommend his place again. That is not how you treat loyal, neighborhood customers. Stay away! I came in before making the reservation, because I wanted to be absolutely certain the size I wanted was available as I didn't want my move screwed up. I had to wait for "the boss" to return (from picking up his kids, the boss said later). Dexter arrived almost an hour later... He said, no problem, he had a van available and I made the reservation there AND it was $20 cheaper to reserve in person than online! Got it the next day, it was beautiful with less than 800 miles on it, way nicer than my own ride. I had no issues with Dexter, except for the wait. The service station itself looks to be controlled chaos, though.
