For the second time, this cleaners cannot follow instructions to put a crease in blue jeans. That preference is in their computer, and now , twice, they have failed on a simple instruction. Picked up the last set of 4 pairs pants on a Friday, 3 were not done properly, I was politley told that they would send them back at no additional charge and have them back over on Monday, I politely asked what I was going to wear to my events on the weekend, no good answer to that one. If the service is unreliable the answer is change servicing merchants, and I will. Poor value for the service, if you get service.

When I brought them in and showed them the stains, the counter guy immediately asked what type of stain...which every dry cleaner should assess the stain to know appropriate action to take. So I was impressed and felt comfortable leaving the pants there. Unfortunately there are many places in the city that just say OK, when you point out stains. I got them back stain free for $8.35. I was attracted to this specific cleaners due to them not using traditional dry cleaning solvent like most places. The biggest thing I noticed when walking in was the lack of smell, that petrochemical dry cleaning smell...Same thing with my clothes, they didn't come back smelling like chemicals. I was very impressed.

My clothes were actually held up for a month at the cleaners due to the damage from the bombing. They are a family owned and operated business and the people are great. In the 26 or so years I've used them they have only lost maybe two items and one shirt was damaged. They refunded me the price of the damaged or lost items. Before using Fashion Cleaners my clothes always smelled like cleaning fluid, but this has never been the case here. They've always done a great job on everything I've had cleaned, and they've never ruined a suit or jacket. They also send out leather for cleaning and they did an outstanding job cleaning my old bomber jacket. They will do repairs and alterations too, and if a button breaks or is missing they will repair it for you. Granted, they don't give you a ticket and it really sucks that they don't take credit or debit cards, but it's amazing how they keep track of all your stuff and don't lose it. It would really be nice if they started accepting cards for payment. Once, I didn't have enough cash on me and as luck would have it, I had used up my last check - so I had to walk about 2 blocks from the cleaners and use an ATM so I could get cash for my clothes! All said though, no place is perfect 100% of the time but these folks do one hell of a good job trying!

I have no time to sit in a laundromat so I was lucky enough to find this place. When I dropped off my clothes early in the morning on April 6, I met the man who claim to be owner of the business. He was really nice and super professional. He gave me the lowdown on how the process works and the plan was for me to pick up my wash and fold clothes on April 7. When I left, I had such good feelings that I was going to give this place five stars however, I didn't realize my experience would be completely different when I picked up my clothes. I was behind a customer and I realize it's quitting time and may be a little busy but the woman who looked like she was in charge was completely rude. My clothes were ready and in bags but I couldn't see my laundry bag and I asked about it. She totally ignored me and talked to her employee about me and in front of me. I asked her what the proper procedure was and she ignored me again. I kept trying to converse with her but again she ignored me???? I took a shower that morning and I'm generally pretty smiley sooo idk what her issue was! When it's my turn for laundry services, I will try them one more time and I hope I am changing this rating to five stars next time
