I love Swingset. I just had a shed put in and I was amazed how easy of a process this was. Abel and Gloria were courteous and helpful in guiding us on which shed fits our needs. Their crew meticulously installed our shed quickly. They removed the old shed, set up the foundation and installed the new shed all within a month. Sturdiness, Quality and aesthetic of shed is amazing. Love it! read more

Do not do business with this company! Horrible customer service experience! Refused to honor $900 in gift cards purchased previously. There was no expiration date on the gift cards. The manager told me the company changed internally -- but this should not be a problem passed down to the customer. Making the experience even worse was the fact that she was patronizing and condescending in tone. I was prepared to spend thousands of dollars with this company. This is NOT a customer friendly company. AVOID!! read more

Very satisfied! I came in to see if they sold swing-sets without slides and playhouses because I did not see them on the website. Fortunately, Abel showed me several models of this type and quoted a price. I had been considering building a swing-set myself with components from Home Depot, but I did the math in my head and realized I would not be saving anything if I paid for material delivery and for someone to help with the installation, so I purchased a cedar swing-set right then. My grandkids were on vacation with my daughter in Canada for another week and I wanted to have the swing-set installed as a surprise for their return. Abel was able to arrange installation within days. He told me the crew would be arriving between 10-11on Friday. Sure enough, at 10:05 on Friday, they installers arrived - I did not have to sit around waiting. Despite drizzling rain, they assembled the swing set in 1 1/2 hours. They had preinstalled the swing-beam hardware at the warehouse in order to minimize the time spent in the rain. The crew positioned the swing-set exactly where I wanted it and dug a small trench to make it level. When I would ask them to adjust position by a couple of inches, they did so without complaint. They asked me several times "are you happy" with positioning, swing height, etc. When the installation was completed, they picked up all the packaging, etc. and the area looked exactly as it did before they arrived, except now we had a swing-set. One other thing. As the installation took place, I realized that this swing-set was much more sturdy than the type I considered building using Home Depot steel brackets for the swing-beam and legs. In addition to having more structural support, the installers drove six steel rods into the ground and fastened them to the base of the swing set. The structure does not move, even when an adult is using the swing. read more

John and his son did an incredible job setting up our swing set!! 5 stars!! It was done perfectly in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier! read more

John and Steve installed our set. they were great friendly and answered all my questions ! 5 stars

Abel and his crew tried to do a shoddy and dangerous install of our basketball hoop by digging at hole far less than the manufacturer's guidelines of 48 inches and by using far less cement than required. When notified of this discrepancy, Abel claimed the guidelines didn't need to be followed and digging a hole of only 20 inches is acceptable. He said he would charge us an additional $500 to install properly within the guidelines. We called Escalade Sports, the manufacturer of the basketball hoop and they said the 48 inches and the number of bags of cement were not suggestions but were required and Swingset and Abel Santos were independent from their company and would be held liable if the hoop fell. Abel did not care that he was putting lives at risk including young small children by his unethical business practices. I would avoid them at all cost. The manufacturer does not recommend their products to be installed by this vendor. Abel and his team don't care about people's lives and only want to make money by skipping on materials they got paid for. We paid them in full. Nightmares on what could have happened if Abel and these very bad people were not caught for trying to cheat and scam us. They should not be in business. We have contacted the authorities. read more

We decided to purchase a trampoline for our kids and we're just going to order it online from the manufacturer. It was going to take 4-6 weeks and cost $400 for installation. We decided to try to see them in person before deciding and found the Swingset & Toy Warehouse as a dealer on their site. It was great to see the different sizes, the kids were able to try them out, and they had them in stock. We decided to just purchase it there, saved $200 on the installation plus a free set of stairs for the trampoline with purchase. That allowed us to get the bigger size, which the kids loved. I was shocked when I was told they could deliver and set up the next day!! The two men who came did a great job installing it and making sure it was secured. Highly recommended! read more

This company was an absolute pleasure to deal with for our Shed. Abel is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough throughout the whole process of our shed being built. We had to have our shed built on site due to not having enough room to have it dropped off pre-built. The gentlemen who built our shed were on time and very efficient. They were done in the exact time they said they would be and they were extremely professional. The quality and durability of this shed was worth every penny! It is sure to last a very long time. I could not be more happy with the finished product and would recommend this company to everyone I know because of how easy the whole process was. Thank you again!! read more

Abel saved the day!! I originally ordered trampoline from a different company in February, way ahead for my kid's birthday end of April. Two days prior to installation I was notified that my trampoline was on backorder with mid May tentative delivery date. What?!!! My girls' birthday present and surprise would have been ruined if not for Abel!!! I called Swing & Toy Warehouse at 11:30am, they had many trampoline options in stock and available for delivery ASAP but the installation wait was over 3.5 weeks!!! However, Abel was able to perform a miracle - installation guy came to my house no more than 2 hours later and by 4pm I had my girls jumping on a brand new trampoline! Thank you! I am a very happy customer! read more

I purchased our swing set Spring 2020 and it's been swaying every since. I've reached out via email and called and was told they would send someone over. No one ever stopped by and finally had someone come by to access the swing set a year later. They took a video to show the owner and was told they never were shown anything. At this point I will ask for our money back and they can take the playground back with them. What will it take to have the situation addressed when a child gets hurt? I'm not pleased with how long I've been waiting for a resolution. My purchase was over $2,000. read more

If highly recommend the Swingset Warehouse of Upper Saddle River. They had an enormous selection, great prices, and were so helpful in selecting the right set for my girls. Installation was flawless as well. They were truly a pleasure to work with. read more

I was looking for a large playset for our two young kids. Abel helped me find the Magellan playset that I noted on their website. He was kind to my kids who were with me and he let them play in the showroom as we talked and discussed some add-ons. Originally, I had planned to have them install it in March, but we had a couple of weeks of nice weather in December so I called Abel about an earlier install. He promised to let me know of cancellations in his schedule that would allow us to fit in. Then we got the call one early Saturday morning and the guys showed up on time, finished on time, and did all that we had requested. The kids love it and we are very happy with our purchase. Customer service has been great so far. read more

I recently bought an extensive swing set with multiple rooms, a tree house, picnic table and a lemonaid stand from Swingset and Toy Warehouse. The owner, Peter Glynos, is very customer focused and helped me determine my requirements for the set. He then designed various set options for my consideration. I was quite impressed with his flexibility to various changes I proposed. The end result was the installation of a set configuration which has thrilled my children and grandchildren. I can highly recommend this company. See Peter and you'll be very happy with the result. John P. read more

We purchased a beautiful swingset from Abel, and received good service, with personalized measuring of our backyard, a recommendation for an awesome landscaper to level the ground (RMR and Brothers in Pinebrook, NJ), and the installers stayed for many hours to make sure the job was finished. We haven't tried out the swingset yet, but from the look of things, it's going to be awesome! read more

When we went into the store it was very nice ,great displays that the kids can go on. Which gives the parents time to look and talk about the the next big purchase. Able was great working with us and getting us the set that our two boys wanted. It was set up with in two weeks the installers made sure it was built where I wanted it. BUT that's the end of the great service, I called back two days after the install saying that two steps were cracked and needed to be replaced. I was told that it would be done that week, well one emai later and a phone call later I'm still waiting since July . read more

We took my 14 year old son to Swingset and Toy Warehouse to get an in-ground basketball hoop for our driveway and Abel was very helpful explaining the different hoops and what it would take to get this all set up. We loved that they set up the installation and that we would not have to find someone else to do it. Great custome service. My son is looking forward to next week when they start the process of installation. Thank you! read more

Not at all interested in helping. We called several times asking about help with a trampoline for our yard at the main number. The first woman was responsive and gave me someone on their team to schedule a conversation with but when I called that number, I spoke with the least helpful person who clearly was not interested in trying to help me determine what we needed. She basically sent us to a competitor and then hung up the phone on me simply because I was looking for more help (by help, it was some guidance on how to think about sizing) all while she chewed food in my ear. I would avoid this company if you can help it based on the attitude of the person I spoke with over the phone. read more

Great service and huge selection. Abel was very helpful and patient and was super kind and caring to our children while they ransacked the showroom. Would definitely recommend!!! read more

We purchased a swingset and had it installed a few weeks ago. Due to space concerns, the installer indicated that the store would credit us if we didn't want the lemonade porch installed on the side of the set. They took the pieces for the porch away. Since then, we had had several calls with store employees and they are telling us that the set comes as one piece and that they can't credit us for the lemonade porch. Now we just want the parts back! They tell us that they want to resolve this quickly and say that they will talk to the installer and then we never hear back and have to continuously call back and explain the situation all over again. Where the heck our parts are we have no idea. This is bad business! Not to mention the fact that we were charged $2700 for a low quality set where the floor boards dip if any adult attempts to go on it. The excuse that I get is that it's because there are weight limits. I get that but for that kind of money, that should not be the case. Should have just gotten something inexpensive from Cosco. read more

We purchased our first swing set from Swingset and Toy Warehouse in 2008. They were very professional with both the sales and the installation and my kids loved the set. Then, during Superstorm Sandy in 2012, a 100-ft-long tree came down in the backyard, right through the middle of the set. My kids were devastated but I brought them with me to Swingset & Toy, where we were able to pick out a new set immediately. Abel Santos was incredibly helpful, very kindly letting the kids "test out" the sets on display while making sure I had all the paperwork I needed for the insurance, including getting me a copy of the sales receipt for the original set so I could get a full reimbursement. Even though it was November, he was able to get the new set installed within weeks of the purchase, contacting me when we had a few warm days to let me know it could installed much sooner than I had originally anticipated. The installers were friendly and patient, working with us to make sure the new set was placed optimally, and we could not be happier with our purchase. read more

This is my first time writing a review ever. The only reason I decided to this time was because of the exceptional service my family and I received when walking in the door! Able is AMAZING!! Super friendly, didn't pressure us, was great with my son and gave us choices and suggestions based on our budget. I get so nervous when making big purchases such as this one but because of Able's professionalism I was calm and confident with what we bought. We walked in on a Friday just before closing and we were told we could have it delivered and installed the next day! what service!! We opted for a few days later and I will say the same thing about the installers. Super professional and friendly. So much so I made sure they had water and even bought them lunch. They expressed concern about where I had originally thought the set should go and boy am I glad I listened to them. They do this every day why wouldn't I listen! They were clean, neat and did a great job. Minor issue with one of the pieces installed but Able quickly put in a claim, the company responded back to me immediately and the new part has been ordered and the installers will come back and replace it. Under normal circumstances I would have been upset or disappointed that this minor issue happened but again because of the professionalism I remained calm and didn't let it bother me. My children absolutely their new set! I love watching their smiles as they play. I will be recommending swingset and toy warehouse to all my mommy friends as well as all the mommy facebook groups I belong to! thank you to Able for making this such a wonderful experience. read more

We were looking for a local business that sells sheds and luckily our landscaper recommended this place, even though we didn't see it at all as part of our own search, likely because "shed" is not part of their name. The sheds they have on display and sell are actually built in Pennsylvania. Ours was assembled onsite, as there was no way to drive it up to the desired location in our yard, by three Amish guys whose speed of putting the shed together was fun to watch. Everything about the selection and purchasing process was easy and customer service was great. The gravel pad we had installed for the shed turned out to be slightly off-level, which was discovered after the shed was installed. I let Abel know as I was dropping off my final payment and he offered to have his installers stop by and re-level the shed, which they did a couple of weeks later. Would certainly recommend to others looking to buy a shed in the area. read more
