I've tried shingles a rubber burn down roof and most recently a metal roof. Each time I had roofers here that rushed through the job cut corners that cost me money to replace my interior insulation and ceilings. I can go on and on about my experience with past roofers which brings me to my review of m&j roofing. We contacted this company and let me just say they are responsive,, they are honest, polite professional, and the pricing was great. They truly care about their customers. Louie is absolutely a wonderful man. He came here looked at my roof, told me what was done wrong what went wrong, and what needed to be done to prevent any further problems. He reassured me he would correct the issue and guaranteed his work into the future. The day they came they completed the job start to finish in one day. His son Nick is just as wonderful as his father (Lou) . Nick and his dad kept me updated throughout the day and even helped me up on the roof to make sure I saw the damage previous roofers had done and what went wrong. They also showed me the finished product and would not leave unless I was satisfied. Let me just say the finished product was amazing. in closing I would say to anybody this is the only roofing company that anybody should use. I could go on and on about how satisfied and about the quality of their work You just have to trust me this company is truly amazing.

After 4 weeks of not hearing back from him and reaching out, I got an email from the office staff saying my remodeling was not a good fit for the company. No reason just not a good fit. If the job was not a good fit then Cody who now runs the business should have told be the day I talked with him. I'm just extremely disappointed in this business !

Replacing your roof is something no one wants to do but when it's necessary it's necessary. Called…read moreseveral roofing contractors to provide a quote. Bob Greggson the owner came down the next day to have a look. His quote was through, he made sure to also include materials he may or may not actually need as separate line items. For example plywood that could need to be replaced after the existing was removed at a per sheet price. His price wasn't the most expensive but not the lowest either. I typically will chose from the mid based pricing. If it's way higher than everyone you are probably getting ripped off. Too low and you will probably get a poor job or get hit with add-ons when it's complete Anyway his crew came a few weeks later. They laid tarps around the house and within a few hours had all the old shingles off. Bob had his guys use a double row of ice shield on the bottom edge of my house above the gutters to minimize the chance of ice dams causing any damage over the winter. Should be standard practice in the NE but it's not. His crew had my new shingles on and everything cleaned up in just a few days! It was a pretty much painless procedure. I highly recommend Above All Roofing for folks in SW Connecticut.

He has great expertise, and is an incredibly hard worker. He is easy to work with and worked really well with our designer and other contractors. We brought Frank on early to be a part of the planning process to assure that the design and overall concept for the kitchen was feasible. Frank had some great ideas and educated us on brands to look at and which to steer clear of. We changed some of the concepts of the kitchen design and even had to bump out a wall to accommodate the new AC heat pump unit. Frank just went with the flow. I really liked the preciseness of his work and how he always left our house clean when he finished for the day. Frank gave us a few special touch ideas that really made the project pop. We couldn't be happier or have picked a greater Contractor. Highly recommend him for your next project.

I had the interior of my condo re-done by Sunwood Development in late 2009. Greg was the only one…read moreof seven contractors that even returned my call. When he came to give me an estimate, he told me that Sunwood generally doesn't take on "smaller" jobs such as mine, but they'd take it on. He also said I might have sticker shock from the scope of work I wanted done. I wanted all new kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, bathroom vanities & toilets, kitchen appliances, a new shower stall with glass doors, porcelain tile in the kitchen & entryway, ceramic tile in both bathrooms, and old school oak floors throughout the rest of the 1100 Sq. Ft. of my home. I was NOT shocked by the price quoted. It was within reason. Upon signing the contract and initial payment in their offices, Greg blocked out on a calendar what phases would be completed on what dates, and was given a firm date of completion of the overall project. I made my selections for cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, tiles and appliances and paint selections at the appropriate times. I paid extra for some change orders I wanted as the work progressed. All the work was completed exactly on the dates blocked out by Greg, and the overall project was completed a few days early. Upon completion of the final walk through, I was handed a check for over $700.00, because they completed the work under budget. I moved back into an essentially brand new home. It's been nearly nine years, and the workmanship and materials have held up extremely well. Obviously, I strongly recommend Sunwood Development for your construction needs.
