We weren't sure what we wanted, the owner came out and looked at the property, helped us plan how it could be set up. We bought it. Paid 1/2 in advance. After the 4 weeks lead time, I followed up. It seemed like something was forgotten. And it would still be a couple of weeks. We waited. Day of installation finally arrived. We are required to pay remaining balance that day. Before installation is complete. They start the installation. Initially said it would be 2 days. They get it done in one day. As soon as they leave my husband notices that the last 1/3 of the twisty slide is practically vertical. The whole family tries it. We all get launched out of this slide. I call immediately to say that this isn't going to work. After several weeks of back and forth, we finally get them out here to address this slide. They show up at 5pm to do this work. With small kids, this isn't appropriate. They rush around trying to beat the day light, walk away with a slide that is less vertical, however now there's about a 3' drop of the bottom of the slide to the ground. With the explanation of "get a mat to catch them". Also unacceptable and it's communicated immediately. But now it's late and now we need to wait some more. Daily phone calls from both me and my husband. And we finally get commitment that they will fix it. And come during daylight so it's not rushed. Several hours again and it's "better" but barely satisfactory. I would've loved to tear it down and send it back and get my money back. It was exhausting and easier to walk away than deal with them any longer. Don't fall into this trap. Spend your money, time and energy elsewhere.

Unfortunately due to the Corona virus visiting locations was not a viable option. Harry was very informative and knowledgeable about the products and offerings in the industry. He took the time to look at the other units I was initially interested in and he explained their pros and cons, not just the cons. In the end I really liked the Woodplay Outback 6 in redwood for my kids (Ages 3.5 and 1.5). He tried to talk me out of spending the extra money for the monkey bars now but I really want them when the kids get substantially older and want to make sure that I had the matching items. On Saturday we spoke for 90 minutes about the general product and my vision for the playset On Sunday we spoke for 50 minutes with follow up questions and ensuring I understood everything. On Monday I called in the morning and told Harry that we wanted to order. On Thursday morning his installer called me and was on the way. By 2:30pm the playset was up and we were ready to play. In the end I could not be happier. I ended up with a playset that I can see my kids enjoying into adolescence and the quality that will make that possible. Harry provided me with a written quote once we settled on everything we wanted.

A pleasant experience from beginning to end. Russel - aka Swing Set Man - was highly responsive,…read moreprofessional. and accommodating, and you can tell he's a master of this art form of swing set installation. I ordered the Gorilla Navigator swing set, which I was going to buy off the Gorilla website. I'm glad I reached out to Russel first, as he found the exact one I wanted on Bed, Bath, and Beyond's website (who knew they were still in business) for $500 less. Tragically, Gorilla forgot a key accessory box when they shipped, but Russel has connections and, if not for the fact I already reached out, he would've been able to procure that box for me. As a result of the delay, I missed the installation date, but again Russel accommodated, coming out on a Sunday morning in the high 20s in March to put the play set together. He knocked the whole thing out in less than five hours. He told me that Gorilla forgot the hardware for the monkey bars (sigh), but not to worry he brings his own and had no trouble getting it installed. He even ensures the swing set is level with his own wooden blocks and secures the swing set properly from tipping. Not a board or screw out of place (and I looked). I almost wish I had another swing set for him to install because the experience was so awesome. He's highly responsive and knows what he's doing (check out his Instagram), and his rates are nearly identical to what you'd pay Gorilla if you had them install. Highest recommendation, do not hesitate to have him build your child's swing set the right way.

Fortunately, Abel showed me several models of this type and quoted a price. I had been considering building a swing-set myself with components from Home Depot, but I did the math in my head and realized I would not be saving anything if I paid for material delivery and for someone to help with the installation, so I purchased a cedar swing-set right then. My grandkids were on vacation with my daughter in Canada for another week and I wanted to have the swing-set installed as a surprise for their return. Abel was able to arrange installation within days. He told me the crew would be arriving between 10-11on Friday. Sure enough, at 10:05 on Friday, they installers arrived - I did not have to sit around waiting. Despite drizzling rain, they assembled the swing set in 1 1/2 hours. They had preinstalled the swing-beam hardware at the warehouse in order to minimize the time spent in the rain. The crew positioned the swing-set exactly where I wanted it and dug a small trench to make it level. When I would ask them to adjust position by a couple of inches, they did so without complaint. They asked me several times "are you happy" with positioning, swing height, etc. When the installation was completed, they picked up all the packaging, etc. and the area looked exactly as it did before they arrived, except now we had a swing-set. One other thing. As the installation took place, I realized that this swing-set was much more sturdy than the type I considered building using Home Depot steel brackets for the swing-beam and legs. In addition to having more structural support, the installers drove six steel rods into the ground and fastened them to the base of the swing set. The structure does not move, even when an adult is using the swing.
