It set her up for success on a competitive swim team and instilled a love of swimming and personal perseverance. Now, after moving to CO and coming out of the pandemic, we looked into the nearest Goldfish for our other kiddos and they are loving their swim lessons and instructors! We tried a local recreation center because it was cheaper and it just wasn't working- the instructors didn't seem to care and really didn't have a great plan. Coach rod has been patient, kind and pushed him where he could. His progress has been noticeable but more than anything my son just loves coach rod. On the way home after lessons recently he said, "I love coach rod, he always makes sure I'm safe and that I feel safe. Do you think coach rod loves me?" - we've tried all the lessons from Virginia vale to central denver and swimming simply takes the cake! All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. My kids loved the fountain play area, lazy river and water slides, dad loves the lap pool and hot tub. There's a nice variety of paid and "free" classes for both kids and adults, as well as community activities and access to physical therapists and personal trainers. I'm an amateur kettlebell sport athlete and use the facility 4-5 times per week. The staff is generally friendly, helpful and accommodating, they keep things reasonably clean and in good repair and they have a wide variety of cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines to choose from. It can get crowded evenings and weekends, but there's seldom a long wait for equipment. I love ending my workout in the steam room or sauna and a nice hot shower before I head to work. I've had memberships at chain and franchise gyms as well as private gyms. If you're self-motivated and have your own training plan, this is a great budget-friendly option! So grateful to have access to this great facility supported by our community!!
