Some of the teachers really didn't belong around kids. But, that does not negate the fact that Greater Waco has some of the best teachers in the world. For every good teacher there is bound to be a terrible one, but the center admin staff has always rectified the issue. When ever I have had concerns they have always been dealt with Second, I have a child in the K-4 class who adores Ms. Michelle. She is the most wonderful teacher in the entire school!! I have a 2-year old in the toddler class. Although we have seen some of our favorite toddler teachers leave he has grown fond of Ms. Annette. Even though Catherine will always be mommy's favorite. :) My youngest is in the infant room, and after leaving Ms. Arleen in the newborn room, her teacher Ms. Sarah is perfect at caring for my daughter. Babies are hard work, you don't always know why they are upset but Ms. Sarah does wonderfully!!! Third, and last, everyone has their own opinions and parenting styles. But, I can walk into the school whenever I want and just peek in on any of my kids. If I cannot personally go in I have always been able to call and speak with the teachers. I'm not saying the last three and a half years have gone without a hitch but I can say that I would not trust my babies with anyone else. The staff at Greater Waco Early Education Center has become an extended part of my family and my kids love not only the teachers but the entire staff!!!!

Again she's potty trained. When any of this was brought up they said they'd look into it and nothing was done. Safe to say my children no longer go here due to us not being able to afford it any longer and me not being able to pay for neglect

The habitat open 9am to 6 pm. It very easy to find the habitat. Very close to bookstores in the campus. The bears are in the cage. They are very active. Sometime they have education problems about the bear. The visit is free.

My family discovered Texas Dynasty Cheer & Gymnastics two years ago through their Saturday play…read moredays for kids. My 3-year-old David loved going to the Saturday free play times, and I personally enjoyed his enthusiasm for the gym as a former cheerleader myself. I know that tumbling, gymnastics, and cheer are sports that teach foundational and fundamentals of movement that are applicable across so many other sports, and it is all very important to balance, coordination, and confidence in children to learn these types of movements. My child was very attached to my wife who is an amazing stay-at-home mom, and we feared putting him in a class where we thought he would not do well being apart from mom, yet we knew it was best for him. That was when we went to a Saturday where Madison Higdon entered my family's life, and what a blessing she has been. My son was instantly drawn to Madison as she came over to show him some trampoline movements, and then she stopped to take the time to speak with my wife and I. We both expressed our trepidation with putting him into a class, however Madison was confident that she could make it a place that David would love. Madison was professional and provided answers to every question we had as parents. Madison then got us connected with all the information to get David enrolled, and after we left, we signed him up that day. We were so impressed with Madison that we did not use the free class, but instead bought fully into her confidence as a couch for the toddler class that we booked David for TWO classes a week. We made sure that Madison was the coach for the class, and from that moment on my son was hooked! Madison engaged with our son, taught him the foundations of movement, and made it fun. Our son took to coach Madison immediately and began to learn the days of the week just so he knew when Tuesday and Thursday were coming since those were his days with Madison at the gym. The treasure of finding a young adult who is so fantastic with the most precious human in our life is unquantifiable, and we were so impressed with how Madison presented much older than her actual age. The value of this class Madison provided was manifestly present in my child's physical evaluation when entering school. The school he attends is a private school that evaluates children for physical movement since there is a trend in child development where children are lacking basic physical movements from being on devices more than ever instead of outside playing. David shined, and the school asked what we had specifically done to prepare David. The thanks is largely in part to Madison at Texas Dynasty Cheer for teaching David how to jump with two feet and land, tumble, coordination of stepping, and the confidence to try new physical challenges. Madison has become a cherished member of our family, and my son still speaks of Madison weekly. Every day we came to Texas Dynasty, David was greeted by name and the staff looked forward to seeing David which of course makes a child feel special and cared for. David and Madison bonded in a way that would make any parent so thankful to experience, and a value can't be placed on a compassionate, caring, skilled, and professional young adult such as Madison. This is a young adult who is contributing to society in an age group that seldom shines as bright as Madison does. Since this experience, my wife and I have pointed countless people to Texas Dynasty and we can say confidently that is only due to Madison. The family of coaches are all great, but for us Madison was the coach my son, wife, and I adored and grew to trust. Bottom line: Get involved at Texas Dynasty and experience a family who loves, values, and leads your child to skills that will last a lifetime! Hopefully you're lucky enough to have Madison as a coach!

There aren't a lot of shady spots. This park isn't the type with lots of picnic tables, benches and pavilions. It's centered mainly around kid play and the kids definitely enjoyed it. In addition to a regular swing set and the set for babies and toddlers they also have swings designed for children with special needs in 2 sizes up to 12 years old. That's pretty wonderful.

The walking path is made of concrete and there isn't any large trees. My wife had been there before and said that the creek or ditch appeared filled in. There was some seating that was covered and I noticed quite a few BBQ pits as well. I liked the quantity of picnic tables. It is a good track but not much to see so I enjoyed talking w my wife. Unlike other parks this trail had little to no incline and was easy to walk since it was concrete. That is helpful since I am still recovering from surgery. I would recommend this walking path for people who are perhaps a bit unsteady on their feet like me w surgery or other reasons possibly. The only complaint I might have is the lack of larger trees and that means during summer it would be wise if me to go in earlier or later hours. All in all good park. They have portable potties not permanent ones if that makes a difference to ya!!!
